FYI.... I came from behind because my little firestons dont like to hook. I won by about 2-3 cars. And my car is the one you cant hear (resonator + turbo + muffler = sleeper)
watching the vid, if your firestones don't hook where is the tire screeching? I don't hear anything.

Hey Drizzle99... you need to tell that hemidakota guy that Catalyst DOES have an intercooler.. unlike his statement..

Quote:
I have been around too many Hondas to know of a real mean machine but an LX with 8 PSI is not going to cut it. Escpecially without a intercooler unit.

And lets keep this topic like it is going... it's actually not a flame war, seeing how some guys from the srt4ums are here..

Damn nice 60 ft. mine was more along the lines of 2.6 sec.

Also you cant hear the other guy spinning his tires in the vid either, but they did. We were just too far away.

drizz, thanks for the comment! I was thinking about trading my civic in for an SRT4, thats when i drove them. The salesman made me pull over and he took over. Anyway, i dont know if id get the $20,000 i would need. I mean, my stereo only runs about $3000 and then the turbo.

I like both cars. I dont like any of the earlier neons, but the SRT4 looks sweet and performs really well. I dont have anything against them because they are just in another class.

hey catalyst:

where did you get all the components for your turbo kit?
and also how do you plan on passing smog since you live in cali too?
i have a 4dr LX 2002 and plan on turbo-ing it as well...
whats your best time? do you go to LACR?

i just came back from LACR like 15 mins ago, damn my car is slow...
i got a 17.874, 17.853, & 17.829...hey atleast i'm consistent...LOL
i need more speed......

my first run i went against a Lexus gs400 w/supercharger that ran a low 14....

my second run against a srt4 that ran a mid 14....

my last run against a 300zx twinturbo on street slicks that ran a mid 11's

crazy shit.....they all blew me away....
oh well, time to sell my civic and get a wrx sti....
