Uhmm...7thgencivic site, I previously read posts of when you had a civic. Your sig suddenly makes sense now. You have an IS300, not a civic. I apologise for assuming that you were talking about the d17. Why am I arguing with you then?

I had a Civic til about 6 weeks ago. I tried to give some clues, or you could have checked my members ride pics or profile. I just figured I'd let you run
But I know the guys on this board and I trust what they are saying about their cars, so I'll just be around and sticking up for them anyhow.

Yes a civic will pull a 240sx. Get that through your head. The cars arguably run identical times in the 1/4 mile. The civic traps higher. The RWD advantage for launch on the 240sx is lost when going from a roll. Is that clear enough for you?

How exactly am I ignorant? Failing to believe you guys that the d17 is one of the most potent inline 4 engines ever produced?

No, thats not what I'm saying. WHat I am saying is that what you drive don't mean squat, Its' how you drive it. in other words, I have a lot of respect for Those people who have the skill and knowlage to make their cars excell in what ever performance aplication they want to persue (Dragstrip or road course). I don't however have any respect for those who simply dismiss a car as infirior, or "Obviously Slower" then another car. Yes Autocross is 90% driver, thats why I respect the people who race there and prove to the rest of the automotive community that Spouting out Horse power ratings and Tourque specs to figure out which car is better is relitivly pointless. Thats why I dont give a Damn about my 1/4 mile time.
I'd rather find out who is the better driver rather then who has the bigger pocket book.
Autocross: Because Life is more fun on three wheels......
"I know Solo only comes one minute at a time, but what an intense, non-stop, fast-forward car control exercise minute it is. Sure, the velocity is higher in road racing, but inside the car it is slow-motion in comparison. In Solo, the turns come like machine-gun rounds. "

Now you're putting words into our mouths.
Like I said before, believe what you want to believe
