Well maybe you should end the dispute the civic turbo is impressive and the rsx-s is respectably clean and quick . so anyway
hey CATALYST that shop turbod a 02 lancer oz i want to see the numbers on that did it put out more than 200 horses with the turbo and how much boost is it running like 8psi or less?

Really? Tell that to the more than handful of S2000's running 8psi of boost with turbos and stock internals, with the stock 11:1 ratio. On pump gas.

hey hothonda, we didnt get a chance to dyno it, because it had to go straight from our shop to a show. (yes, another showcar) Anyways, another one (non OZ) is coming in and we will get a chance to dyno it when the new dyno shop opens up.

Geez. All of you civic owners know that you'd take a k20 over your d17 anyday. Force induced or naturally aspirated, it doesn't matter. The k20 is a way better performance oriented engine.
Just stop trying to act like the d17 is in the same league as the k20, because it's not.
I don't recall ever saying it was. That'd be like me saying "you rsx owners quit acting like the K20 is in the same league as the F20C1, cuz it's not". But I don't say that, because I don't make generalizations.
Never said anything about the K20 being a better engine than the F20. There may be 1 or 2 rsx owners who actually feel that way, but that's just not me. The s2000 was made by honda to be a faster car, so why hate? I can accept the fact that the s2k is made to be faster than the rsx. Why can't civic owners accept the fact that the EP hatch is made to be faster than theirs?
It just seems like 70% of the members here think their cars are faster than some obviously superior cars on the road.
I see threads about the 7thgen EX beating:
1.) Civic SIs (ep)
2.) Rsx base
3.) 240sx
Then the rest of the members jump in and say that those cars above are slow and the civic is definately faster. That just annoys me...
The base stock civic is not faster than abny of the above mentioned cars. But when you put some boost to it, free up the exhaust, and tune it, yes it can be faster than those.
It also depends on the drivers. At the track tonight, i saw an RSX-S run a 17.1 1/4 mile. The guy didnt know how to drive.
So if you get a guy who is real good at driving in a kinda beefy ex, and a guy who doesnt know the gas from the air vent in an RSX-S, i will bet you that the EX will win in the 1/4.

ya lx beats srt is what amazes me even more, but if you coulda got the k20a2 swap you wouldnt even have needed a turbo for those cars!!! but nice kill espically on those two cars that i cant stand!!!

First you said "all" Civic owners.
Now you say 70% of the members here.
Then you say it annoys you.

I think 99.4% of members here don't really care if you are annoyed.
