Hey lemme hear some of your follies in your 2k1 civic. My most terrible "Race" was a Fat [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] forty to fifty year old man in a oldsmobile aurora, I belive it was a 94-96 a real big guess. I am not to into domestics. So I fly by him in a forty MPH zone, and come to a red light. Next thing I know this guy is eye ballin' the shit out of my civi. So It turns green and I hit the pedal, through first then through second. Next Thing I know is this guy flys on by like I am a piece of road kill....pretty sad. At that time my car had no mods. My best race was about a span of about 5 mins, I came onto a two lane road: Speed limit 35 MPH. I roll up quick to see a decked out 2k SI and a Mustang GT both a little riced, but damn were they fast. First I f**k with the stang, he taunts me and is out like a MOFO. Next I cruise up to the vic and he wants my ass to on a silver platter. So I am cruisin about 35 I drop to second and start by getting about halfg a car in front of him. I put it into third and am still winning. Next thing I know is his car is sprayin and screamin like a banshee, he smokes me and I pull off about a minute later when we are just cruisin down the road. I pul off and have a nice rush of adrenaline still pumpin. <font color=white style="background-color: 3E3E3E;">SO lemme here some of your worsts? </font ft>

Um. I've been beat by 4 corvettes in my Trans Am. It's like I never had a chance. I haven't really opened up the civic yet for some hard up races.
But here is one story.........
I come up on what looks like a mid 90's BMW. Not sure what model, maybe an M3. Anyways, as I pass it I see 3 kids in daddy's Beamer. Right away I know that they are gonna wanna have a race(one of those things where you can just tell that it's gonna happen).
They pull up next to me as we are going up a steep bridge incline. I know that I have no chance against these guys, but I figure why not. I decide that I'll wait until I break the top of the bridge and then punch it. They don't wait....LOL. The drop the hammer half way up the bridge. So of course I go after them. The have 1 car length on me when we reach the top of the bridge and I'm holding. Then we break the peak of the bridge and they are gone. Quickly they put 2,3, then 4 cars on me.
They slow down and I pull up next to them. I decide not to do one of those typical immature flybys. I give them a thumbs up and get set for the next go. This time it's my turn to drop the hammer. When I do I quickly put 2 cars on them and hold it. I keep holding it until my car tops out at 115mph. Being as they are in a BMW they still have more speed left and close in and pass me with their flashers going. I give them a thumbs up and go on my way to work.
It was fun, but I never really thought that I had a chance.
I raced my friends SVT Cobra once obviously got destroyed, bunch of ppl were around so it was sorta embarassing [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG], and I raced a 2001 golf GTI that killed me too by a good 5-6 car lenghts I think he was spraying.

He doesn't need nitrous to smoke our civics by that much. Those things bone stock will smoke our cars buy that much.
i was driving to get home when this piece of shit saturn was so slow... i tailed him and got pissed.. so i switch lanes to pass him.. bastard sped up and we entered a turn, he got inside... so i got jacked.. i had no mods and my car rolled like a SOB!!!!
my worst race was coming home one night, i was with my friend and this saturn (95?) pulls up next to me on the right, and an 89 prelude pulls up on the left.(i'm in the middle lane) I look at both of them and i just knew it was on, so i tear thru first, chirp second, preludes somewhere back, and the fucking saturn is at least 4 car lengths ahead. I'm almost positive he was using nitrous.
i raced a fixed up Subaru WRX at the street races, he gave me like a 10 car head start and he still KILLED ME, my tranny was soooo messed up that night, good thing honda replaced it with a new one [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]
I tried going up against my friend's 96 Impala SS. Not just a normal Pala. This bad boy had a Vette engine swap. It was pushing 350+ with Quassi I think. Anyways, we were pulling out of the mall onto the main road. He doesn't even wait for me and he guns it. So, I run my 1st up to the red. Then my 2nd goes into the red, and I kick 3rd before he turned onto the next road. I was going about 60 at that point and a good 10ish car lengths. Yeah, the little run couldn't have taken more than 8-10 seconds and I got SMOKED. But it was fun and we went to Hooters after.
Bout 3 months ago my girlfriend and I are coming out of a shopping center from a movie. I'm in the far right lane to make a right unto a 4 lane street. I forgot that the right turn goes off unto an exit ramp so I look to my left quickly and turn into the lane next to me. So some skinhead in a Neon decides I just cut him off, so he blares his horn at me for like 7 seconds. Now I could understand a quick honk for being an ahole but 7 seconds??? So this guy flies by me and I get pissed off and drop it into second and go after him. Now this street's a 45mph limit and we're going 55 at that point. I come up next to him just so my girlfriend and I can give him the finger when realize I'm going around 70-75 at that point on a Saturday night on cop infested street. So slow down and this ahole decides to get infront of me. He sticks out his hand and gives me the thumbs down as if I just lost a race to him. I was so pissed off at myself for the rest of the night for even letting such a dumbass get to me to risk getting into a serious accident or major speeding ticket. I rarely race and when I do its purely for fun and not to prove how reckless and dumb I can get when someone pisses me off.
A couple of weeks ago I was driving home after getting some fast food. It was about 9pm and I was driving cautiously because I knew the cops were out and about. Anyways, I pulled up to a light on this 3 lane road. I was in the far left lane and I looked over and saw these two people on a crotch rocket CBR bike in the middle lane and in the far right lane was a late '90s lowered Chevy S-10. The guy driving the bike kept looking over at me and I knew for sure that the guy in the S-10 was up for a race. When the light finally turned green (which seemed like an eternity) I took off normal. The CBR and the S-10 did too to my amazement. I guess no one knew for sure who really wanted to race and none of us wanted to look like morons by taking off like a bat of hell for no reason. This was just the beginning of what was to come.
It was funny because all three of us stayed in a straight line. No one would pass the other driver. Finally, I said screw it and I down shifted and shot forward. Now the other two decided to accelerate as well. The guy on the bike went a little overboard though and nearly did a wheelie and shot past me like I was sitting still. He did this as we were approaching an intersection. I had to make a left turn so I got over. As I was coming to a stop I saw a cop sitting at the intersection on the opposite side of the road. Right after the bike flew through it the cop flipped a bitch and proceeded to chase the bike rider. The S-10 was about to shoot through the intersection too until he spotted the cop making a u-turn right in front of him. I got the hell out of there because I know the cop saw me swerve over to make my turn and for all I know he could have called in for another cop to pull me over. Too make a long story short, I ended up going back along that same road about 20 minutes later in my parents car and saw the driver getting arrested. His passenger looked like a young teenager. I was surprised to see that it took the cop nearly 1 mile to catch up and pull them over. I felt somewhat responsible for what happened because I egged the bike rider and the S-10 on when I decided to downshift and accelerate. Thats the last time I do that (especially in the small city I live in...too many cops). I realize the danger all three of us put ourselves and other drivers in and its not worth it. Next time I'll go to the track if I feel the urge to race.

Those cars are very popular now because they only weigh about 2200 pounds! My son's car has a B18B1 drivetrain from an Acura Integra with the usual mods, which makes it able to kill most Cavaliers, Saturns, Si's, GSR's, and of course my poor 2K1 LX automatic.
2 weeks ago I managed to "borrow" my aunt's beautiful black 2001 Lincoln LS. 260 horsepower V-8, 5-speed automatic tranny, traction control, blah, blah, blah. I challenge the son to a race AGAIN, a little more hopeful this time.
"Go on the 3rd horn beep"

He holeshots me by one carlength and puts one more on me by the end of the race.

Some of you don't know BigDaddy, but I'm old enough to have a son that has a 1994 Civic CX Hatchback. Those cars are very popular now because they only weigh about 2200 pounds! My son's car has a B18B1 drivetrain from an Acura Integra with the usual mods, which makes it able to kill most Cavaliers, Saturns, Si's, GSR's, and of course my poor 2K1 LX automatic.
