I GARUNTEE that this is going to end up on one of those "Worlds greatest Police chases" shows or something of the sort.
So I’m flipping through the stations, trying to find an oasis of entertainment in a desert of day time TV crap, when I find a local station covering a police chase on a nearby freeway.
It was a black Honda accord (previous generation), and it was whizzing down the 15S (for you who are familiar with San Diego) due to wide open lanes and a dearth of traffic. The Highway Patrol had apparently been following him from Orange County after they saw the driver throw a beer can out of the car while he was driving. At this point he had been driving for over an hour and a half at 90+ MPH and had avoided 2 attempts by the CHP to spike stick the tires.
Just then they go under an overpass, and you see a black accord come to a stop on the right at the other side of the overpass. A second later you see ANOTHER black Accord whiz down the fast lane. Yup, they sticked the WRONG CAR!
Another 5 minutes pass and he’s on the 5S, obviously headed towards the US/Mexico border. He gets around this van, and heads over to the fast lane, but there is a red NX2000 there, so he cuts over into the shoulder (its pretty wide at this point) to pass. Now you have to understand there is little traffic, so the CHP was following at a pretty far distance. That’s why I guess the driver of the NX didn’t notice the 5 police cars behind him when he tried to RACE the Accord! That’s right, the accord had a bit of steam already built up when he began to pass the NX, but the NX downshifted and pulled pretty hard on it. Even the news guy said "Well... now it looks like he’s involved in a drag race as well". After the NX pulls a car length or so he slows back down and paces the Accord at what the news guy said was 95 MPH. It took about 30 seconds of this before he noticed all the cops behind him. The guy then made a beeline to the exit across all 4 lanes.
But it gets better.
After a total GTA experience of the Accord going over sidewalks and almost creaming a grip of pedestrians, he finally pulls as close as he can to the border and bails (he does, however PARK the car in a correct parking space mind you.. in an EMPTY parking lot). After getting ALMOST to the border, with no cops in sight, you see a Border Patrol agent waiting for him right near the fence. She (yes, SHE) gives his ass a judo throw right into a mud puddle (it was raining today) and got the guy into a head lock. I should mention at this point, that the guy running was a rather large bald Mexican gang member looking dude... with saggy pants and all. A bit too saggy however, seeing as how both his pants AND boxers had ended up around his ankles. All the while this Female Border Patrol agent had him in a choke hold, in a big puddle of muddy water. And this is LIVE so you see his neked ass and all for the 3 minutes or so it took police to show up and help the chick out.
I couldn’t breathe I was laughing so hard. I mean I haven’t seen anything that funny, even in completely made up situations on TV shows. I’m still laughing as I'm typing this now.
If you are in San Diego, or So cal you should check the news tonight. They will at least have the last part on tape, but I’m sure they will blur out the kack n balls, and probably the bare ass. Even the news chick couldn’t stop laughing, it was too great.

that was funny that he got owned by the car and then the car ran lol the cops should of told him to haul ass and get infront of him and that way they could of paided for any damages to the NX and caught there man before he showed his ass all over tv
