The other night i was driving home minding my own biz, flossing the blue lights in the rims, front bumper and new blue TYC angel eye coversion while the TV's were playing the fast and the furious, when this silver prelude shoot's up and rev's on me... well... i pay him no attion and and keep cruzing, well the guy just wouldnt leave me alone so he take's off and slow's ( he does this about three time's) finaly i just about had it..I reached down and open the bottle valve and fliped the red switch.......i pushed the clutch in, down shifted to 2nd and rev'ed on him..he made the jump and I floored it..My EX sqeeled like no other...instantly i had a car lenth...poped into 3rd and hit 100 mph and see ya....i smoked his a$$..... when I slowed to make the turn to head down my street he comes up and rev's on me again and i just no thanks, I already had prelude for dinner.... moral of the story, just because some one's bling blining doesnt mean there not fast, and if you ever intise some one to race you better have the power to back it up baby ....or you'll end up looking like the fool.
what year prelude, cause the 92-96 prelude s had a sohc vtec engine, same as 5th and 6th gen civic ex. and with no mods (guessing cause you didnt metion any, exhaust or what not) against your nitrous, he didnt stand a chance.
btw, how did you hit a 100 in 3rd?? i redline at around 80 in my ex 5 speed and like low 80 something at the cut off.

As do I
This prelude was the newer body style with those squarish style head lights...2000 i would guess..and he had an exhaust and intake you could hear it when he rev'ed up on me....or else i wouldnt have hard it over my system bumping...lol. diemos what do you mean you cant hit a 100 in 3rd....damn i can go over 100 MPH... i live in Cali...it's MPH...i still red line at 7 but in 3rd gear.....no 100MPH ...wow that suck's.....thats without NOS...what about the rest of you... I dont have the chip, or anything special that would make a difference.....just a check engine light on...thats another 20hp and thats do to the APC header and AIr/fual meter....(brain reads bad 02 sencer....says honda)... I do notice i always run lean...well most of the time.
yeah, i dont know about 100mph in third, but whatever. I beat my friend in his 2000 Prelude in the 1/4. He juts doesnt know how to launch his car or shift quickly. Even if he did know how to race those cars are SUPER heavy. They weigh in at like 2950 lbs, and stock are supposed to run a 15.5 in the quarter. So even if he did know how to race, he would only beat me by about .4 seconds. (i know that substantial when racing, but it doesn sound like much).
Good kill
