the "import killer".... (yes I've been busy today)

After my episode at the Nissan dealership, me and my fiancee's brother went to Circuit City.

I purchased a sound system for my fiancee for Christmas, and then we left. As we left, there was a red sunfire parked right in front. It has the ugliest body kit I've ever seen, a hood with fake hood pins (the hood looked decent, but get rid of the pins), and Dual Exhaust. The exhaust was such a crap job.... the right exhaust pipe was about 3 inches higher than the left. And the right exhaust was pointing out to the right, but the left was pointing down.

Me and Jason are standing behind the car looking at it. While we're laughing, we notice the words "import killer" have been etched on the back. As I'm looking at this, a circuit city employee comes out and is walking towards us. I laugh and say "import killer" out loud, and the circuit city guy goes...

Him: Yup, import killer.
Me: Does your exhaust help the aerodynamics of your car?
Him: No, but I run 14.6.
Me: With an auto sunfire?
Him: Yup.
Me: well you won't be killing my import any time soon.
Him: What's that?
Me: Honda S2000... stock.
Him: Well, I ran an S2000 that ran a 14.9 when I ran 14.6.
Me: Right, and I'll run a 13.7. I'll even run you today if you want.
Him: I'll race you in spring.
Me: Ya sure? I just picked up the Vortech SC kit (not yet, but hey, he wants to BS, then I'll BS too)
Him: I'll still beat you.
Me: You'll run faster than 12.6? (more BS and guessing)
Him: Yeah, 11's easily.
Me: IN an auto sunfire.
Him: Yup.

At this point we walk away. I have to go back there to drop off my fiancee's car for her install today. One disturbing thing I noticed, however, was that his shirt said "installer" on it. I hope he's not doing my fiancee's car.

I know this though... when I go back....

I will have a camera (to take pics of this beast, if he's there)
I will have a video camera
I will have the S2000

Not trying to flame but I have made some observations after reading a lot of your posts. First of all, you like instigating confrontations especially for such a small guy. Second, you seem to enjoy picking on people that own cars that cost half as much as yours. Yea, I know you have the civic as a "winter beater." I also know you have an s2000 but I don't recall many stories of races or confrontations against others with cars similar to yours. It could be that I just don't recall.

Not to get in the middle of this all but why dont people post up what "similar" cars s2000man should run against? say list a car for the s2000, and one for the civic. Then he can get back to us about who won each of the races?

Well if you'd like a list of "other" cars I've run in my S2000, I'd be glad to tell you. Please note I only tell the stories that are funny or interesting. It would be boring for me to come on here and go.... "I raced a mustang GT today. We ran from a stop to 70mph. I won by a carlength. That is all." Get my point?

But here ya go...

Mustang GTs of different years and models.... I have beat just about every damn stock mustang GT or 5.0 I've come across. As well as a few lightly modded 5.0's or older GT's. I got raped by a supercharged 5.0 once though. I even had a guy call me out on the S2k forum to race him at GLD with his 1999 GT. We did. I won 7 of 10... The 3 races I lost, I STILL had a faster ET and trap, but lost to him at the light. (reaction time)

I've beaten M3's (1997-98?) I've raced 350Z's as well. Lost to one, but beat the other 3.
I've raced plenty of LT1 camaro's/firebirds. I have lost to one or two that were lightly modded, but beaten the rest. I have a friend with a 97 SS that goes back and forth with me. It's a 50/50 chance there.

I've beaten an LS1 camaro once or twice, but been beaten plenty of times by other people that actually knew how to drive them. I also ran one LS1 Auto f-body from a stop to 100mph and stayed dead even with him the whole way. (and if you wanna call BS, go ahead and try... I told the story on s2ki.com AND had an S2ki.com member in my passenger seat. he is from new jersey, but was in the area on business and wanted to meet up with me)

I've raced 300Z TT's once or twice, and beaten them. I've lost to a VR4, and beaten a VR4.

I've even been schooled by a 12 second hatchback.

I race plenty of cars. I don't "pick" on weaker cars. I've raced everything from tiburons and probes all the way up to a 911 Carerra (boss owns one) and a viper. Of course I had no chance against the 911 or the viper, but I'd be glad to see one bury me anyways.

There, is my list up to your satisfaction?

I've shared many stories with my fellow 7th gen members. (i post my stories here and s2ki.com... not just because i own a civic, but because the people on this site are decent and i like this site)

I'm sure if you search, you can find plenty of stories i've posted, and not just with "weaker" cars. And price has nothing to do with it either... just cuz a car costs half what mine does. I'm sure that 12 second hatchback costs well less than half of my S2k... but he still whupped my ever-lovin butt.

I wasn't looking for a list in the least. I just thought it was a little weird that you always posts about weaker cars. I said myself that maybe I just didn't recall all the stories you have posted.

It just started to seem like you were picking on the idiots out there and then act like you can because you drive the all holy s2000. Now, I understand that I was wrong. Seems like you like to race everyone, which is cool.
