On my way back from buying my girlfriend her Xmas gift I was driving along when I pull up to a silver Mitsubishi which I thought was a Lancer...Well I noticed the huge EVo rear spoiler....and very large rims and tires.....and I notice that he is driving on the wrong side of the car....I could not believe that this was a Real Evolution. This car was hot. The car had Florida plates....The guy driving it couldnt of been older than 20. I was staring at the car, with drool on my lip....The guy was looking at my car too ....I almost forgot I was still driving.....

I think it is legal; emitions is the big one that costs more. I think it would be a little confusing though to operate a right-hand drive vehicle on left-hand drive roads...but for some of the cars that you can get, the pros would definitely outweigh the cons! One day...I'll import her and have some fun on the streets of Boston...
Oh yeah, that's the other factor to it...that would be totally weird shifting with the other hand...though I have seen very very early model cars that are right-hand drive AND have the gearbox on the right...now that's trippy!
Yeah, I don't know about shifting with my left hand. I can imagine it, but I can't tell if I'de be good at it? What about the clutch, brake, and gas? Are they reversed as well?

the pedal layout is the same, but the shifter is not... im not sure about the lights and the blinker controls... but as a kid i used to shift with my left hand with my gramps.... so it would not necessarily feel wierd... but given time... u would...
My dad is left handed but when we were in Europe he still had trouble shifting with his left hand. Its just something that you have trained yourself to do.
