Dayum! The lightening over taking the wrx after loosing the launch just shows how much power that mofo has. Dayum! That truck pulled hard on the wrx.

Raw SVT Power. : )

I ran an Autocross with one of those. Pulled good numbers with stock suspension and it's a TRUCK!

.....Dayuuuuuum.......
Too bad you have to pay 27,000 for one...(used)............

OT:...Can't you just buy the f150 2wd look-a-like......slap a charger on it, and run somewhat next to the lightning???.....because that would be about 10,000 cheaper

...that high pitch sound...is that the S/C in the Lightning? At first I thought it was the WRX, but I'm not sure. Doesn't sound like the blowers I've heard.

when the lightning takes off...did he do a neutral drop? im assuming that truck is modded with a good torque converter. im kinda lost when he revs up, the guy yells go, and his rpms drop to idle then he takes off??

I think that was the WRX revving high, the Lightning, is it an Auto???

My roomate revved to like 5K in his WRX and dumped the clutch and we took off like a bat-outta-hell.

To me it sounded like the WRX was revving really high and then let off the gas and then hit the gas...
I dunno

The Lightning uses a heavy duty 4-speed automatic transmission (4R100).

Definately sounds like the whine is coming from the lightning. You can hear the sound change as the lightning's auto shifts. I don't know if anyone let off the gas or what happened but that lightning tore that wrx up in a bad way. Dayuum, did that truck pull.
