Ok people, lately a lot of newbies have been asking what our cars run on the 1/4 mile. Well, start posting here what you run, what kind of car, and with what mods you have done.
I'll start: I have an EX coupe, 5 spd, and I ran a 17.0 with a SRI, custom 2" catback, and Magnaflow muffler.

17.0? Ouch, what was your 60' time?
I have an 01 EX 5spd. I've done, at best, a 15.4 with intake, Ignition Solution ignition, exhaust, short shifter, and new clutch on drag slicks. With normal street Nitto tires, 15.8-16.0 depending on how good the launch is.

If you haven't lifted the head off of the block, you're not racing fast enough.
it dosent really matter to me what times I can run, cause here we only have the 1/8 mile track and its about 45 min away... what i want to know is, assuming i'm running stock and so are they, what cars can our civic ex's beat. ie, neons, jetta, accord, civics, trucks, minivans.... bla bla bla oh i know- focus! i hate the ford focus! but i dont want the domestic guy laughing at the import guy so ive been too chicken.
I did barly beat a stock 98,99, or00 civic and the only diff besides the cars was that he had a passenger.
Well my tires spin too much, for one thing. Other than that I'm pretty sure I would have been able to run at least a 16.5... Plus it depends on how slippery the track is cuz on the street I get waaay better grip.
well....i drive a AUTO 1.7el, and i ran once at vancouver for 17.2
at that time i only have my custom exhaust.
u know different places even people with same car can get a different time......
coz the concentration of the air can be very different in higher and lower places....
i got an auto ex with SRI,thermal cat-back,AEm pulleys and 17" OZ Supperlegeras and i ran a 17.5
lil more work and i coulda got it down some more
im sure puting stck 15's on with better tires woulda get me into the 16's
Link to my car is in my profile. Going agian on the 18th, hopefully I should do better as I had too much gas last time and I didn't prep my tires. (and hopefully I'll have the new spark plugs in, so we'll see if that makes a difference)
