well the second day i bought my si i ran a colbolt ss from a 60mph roll. now i dont roll race and the car was new. i could not help myself it was a good time to see what the car can do i am not going to front i thought i would have a problem with the ss because of the charger but i pulled on him at the top and got him he was at my rear door at the end. he was mad as hell.

I have race both the new Si and a Slobalt oops I mean Cobalt and a SC SS with a good driver would win all day long. Believe me as much as I love the K, it kills me to say that a Chevy is faster but it is.

I am not doubting you but they do look the same. And with a stock SC I would doubt that you would hear much of a difference. The results you listed just sound more reasonable for a non SC SS. Like I said I have raced a SC SS and they don't keep up to bad. A few hundred $ in mods and they can be nice sleepers, I never under estimate one.

When you had the d17?? there is no way that you beat an SS without your swap. And a stock rsx or even a I/h/e/kpro rsx would be a drivers race

The SC cobalt is faster than a stock rsx, for the most part a stock rsx is a low 15 sec high 14 sec car. The SC SS is a mid 14 sec car all day. Now the non SC SS would be a drivers race.

Read the thread before you post troll. The thread starter was driving a new Si which is a mid 14 sec car. The other guy was driving a rsx type S, which is a mid-high 14 sec car. So read and get the facts, or go back where you came from

break it in like you are going to drive it!! I would change the oil if you have not already, maybe some good Mobile 1 .
oil change was done at about 900 miles. i use Royale purple but mobil 1 is good also. i use royale purple in every vehicle that i have had its good shit

dont you ss guys only make 205hp at the flywheel with your little s/charger? actually i didnt come here to troll :;your the ones turning this into a flaming match::..only to post a few facts....the ss s/c makes 210fwhp+ and around 180fwtrq stock...the 205 rating from chevy isnt right...all the new si's ive seen run are running low 15's stock...which is the ss 2.4 range not the ss s/c range...my little cobalt 2.2 ran a 15.7 stock with a 2.4 60 foot... ::do a search on streetfire.net for cobalt and look for 05sedan vs scion tc::...so why you think im retarded RHCP? all those times are accurate....there is a stock cobalt with the ::g85 package comes with lsd which the si i think comes with as well:: running 14.0@98... it just takes a little time to do some research and look for stuff instead of assuming stuff....
WTF are you talking about you have to be the single most retarded individual ever. You are the one that came on here saying that it was a non SS when it was obvious that you did not read enough to find out that it was an SI and an RSX type S that raced the Cobalt. So who is assuming things?? Why would I do a search do see a slow a$$ car racing another slow a$$ car down the track?? And I really don't care how much power a Cobalt can make, for me they are just fun to walk. And the #s that you did post are way off, either that or they are on a dynapak, because there have been quite a few dynoed at the shop that I go to and not a single stock one hits 200whp , infact I think the best #s I have seen for a stock cobalt was around 185whp. There is a modded to shit one around here that is putting down 260whp on that dyno and believe me that is impressive.
