no one is arguing they aren't. my only point was that i/h/e on a 7th gen is near stock or close to stock. what races are won or lost by really has very little to do with this thread. i might as well post that the sky is blue and that canada is leading the world in being just north of the united states.

but, if you want to get picky. if you weigh around 35-40 pounds more than the other driver, you just lost your .05 seconds.

this is a civic. not a purpose built drag car. an i/h/e civic has almost little to no advantage over a stock civic, no matter how you want to slice it. regardless, the race is still going to come down to who the better driver is.

yokohama YK420. i dont think that they are too good because the warranty is like 60k/80k miles. i had yokohamas before and they were stickier. no wheel hop on that run. i got pretty bad wheel hop lauching at 3500rpm the run before.

thats strange, wheel hop at 35 but then u lanched at 43 and no wheelhop.... guess the tires run really well when they are warmed up

shift as close to redline as you can.

get rid of all your weight before you goto the track ... remove subs, spare, etc.

you need to work on your launch if you're getting anywhere above a 2.2 or 2.3 60 foot time
