88mph trap might be incorrect though I think thats what I remember hitting bone stock....I do know for a fact though I hit 16.5 bone stock and that was even with a 2.2 60ft.
unfortunately, the theory of not gaining much power with i/h/e on a d17 is not correct. You gain as much power with i/h/e as you always have with any sohc motor ... as far as I know of.
i/h/e on a k20a2 or k20a nets close to 30 whp ... I don't believe it's fair to say that an i/h/e rsx type s is "almost stock" now do you? ;P ... kinda a double standard there ;P
cai/h/e on manual d17 nets probably 10-12 whp. not a ton of power, but then again, it's still a sohc with a very mild cam that isn't pushing a lot of air
