^^lol why even modd a civic? itsa damn d17....aint gna give you MUCH power...lol jus by flashing an ecu ona turbo car gets you like 40+hp...even with all our bolt on mods, we dont even get 20. d17 and the 7th gen tranny is prolly the worst engine/tranny made by honda...

thats y it gets 40mpg, sounds pretty efficient to me
haha....youre right about bolt ons not giving much power. But the way I look at it, if you dont have the money for a swap....but you wanna make the car a LITTLE bit better...more power to you. Im setting mine up mostly for track, where a civic isnt at the bottom of the pack. lol. I havent gotten my 1/4 mile times up, but hopefully by next week...ill have something.
dude...props to you if you hit 13.6 6 at lacr.....i fawking hit 18.6 at an amazing 74mph!!! my friends stock sti hit low 13s there dude, that place is a bitch place to race
lol dude fix up your gti.....,my buddy witha 3" downpipe and custom exhaust witha ecu flash was hitting mid 13s at lacr.....
tell me about it...just about every 1.8T with intake chip and exhaust is hitting those numbers...my only problem is lack of funds at the moment A lot of my money is going to catching up on bills and I have a kid on the way so I dont feel TOO bad about it....it will all come within due time though trust me
edit: I've got my intake and diverter taken care of though....those are completely necessary before getting the chip anyway so....I'm getting there...
