Why is that being retarded? A 4 second run (started at 22 seconds into the video and ended at 26 seconds) is by no means a race....
A quick burst like that and then shutting it down is a great way for AWD cars to rack up "kills". IMO the Cobra was dumb for not running it out longer.

agreed i would like to see that same race from a roll. it would be a much closer.
The cobra isn’t dumb. On the contrary, he was very smart and decided (and KNEW) it would be pointless to continue the race. If he wasn’t going to keep up off the line he wasn’t going to make up for it at the end. 50WHP advantage isn’t near enough to make up for that loss he had at the start, especially when we are considering what power levels both cars are running.
You can be upset that the video wasn’t long enough; it would be cool if it was longer. But to say the cobra owner was stupid for not continuing the race is moronic in and of it self... or as I said previously... it’s retarded.
Honestly, if you know its pointless why put the stress on your engine/tranny (slicks put a CRAPLOAD of stress on the car) and waste gallons and gallons of very expensive race fuel?
BTW the cobra owner (yes we know who he is) was pretty embarrassed about the whole thing and actually declined to race a 2nd time.
...and you DONT race from a roll with DRAG SLICKS. That too would be very retarded. The whole race was set up because the Cobra guy thought he could keep up with the EVO... which became very aparent that wasnt going to happen.
