I see all these wasted topics about what cars can my car beat, what if my car raced this car, or this big fat bully at school says his car could take my car posts(usually from the younger crowd) ........... We'll instead of asking just look here.... http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html or here http://www.dragtimes.com/browse.php . These are fairly complete listings for 0-60 and quarter mile times for quite a few cars. Instead of getting a brutal beatdown, know which cars you have a chance against. I'm sure there are other sites with the same info on any cars that are not listed here... Please sticky this so not so much space is wasted on the forums about hypothetical races that most likely aren't ever going to happen anyways.

such as: which motor oil was it running, what gas, was it "tuned" in any way (lower tire psi), there are better drivers out there or even worse, etc. but they seem legit to me. good find
well, the first one is pretty much the best baseline cause its data is pulled from magazines like Motor Trend and Car & Driver. The second link is timeslips from people at the strip which can give you a decent idea, but doesn't show what mods have been done. You can tell if there is a bunch of them approx what stock is.

^^^^^ yea they are meaningless times. There were a ton that either sounded way to high or low and there is no details. I saw a 2004 pontiac granprix GT that 14.9 next to it now my friend has one and it is not that fast at all.
On the first one GTO 5.3 in mid 13's on the second one GTO the worst one ive seen was 13.8 the rest was mid to low 13's.......but watch ill prob be at the track on feb 26th in englishtown and my luck ill run low 14's
s2000man01 and bgoetz are right. While many of those times are accurate, a lot are useless.
My car is another example. They say 16.0@ 88 for the Jetta VR6. Well, I did some heavy research and found when they actually "tested" the car, and they only tested the station-wagon automatic model, and blanketed the times for all "jetta vr6's."
That explains why I ran 15.6 stock, and I'm not exactly a pro driver.
Counter examples may include the RX8. I haven't seen anyone get close to the "magazine time" for that car... most running .8-.9 higher than the listed times. (Maybe someone did it, I don't know, but none of the guys I know)
edit- Now that I think about it, there's an RX8 guy on here.. . What'd he run? Maybe he's better than my friends.

corvette c6 4.1 0-60 quarter 12.1 with headers intake and exhaust at LACR. LACR is a very high elevation track and therefore one of the slowest in the nation. So I would give it 11.8 quarter
Go callaway performance.
Anyone that had negative comments about this post needs to get a life, it was posted just as a baseline to get an idea of what various cars can do. Any retard knows that a cars performance depends on the driver and various conditions it was tested under......... I'm sorry if alot of cars are faster than what you had previously thought, but you should be happy that there are sites out there trying to help people get an idea of what kind of performance you can expect from certain vehicles. The first site's cars are verified from reliable sources before being listed and not some person just emailing in that this car has this kind of performance. Sure one person might be able to make a car perform better than the next, but no one expects to find a site that will say "With you driving your car at this altitude, at this location, with your tires and various other mods you will run ##.## in the quarter". I was just trying to give ideas on how cars perform. If you have more reliable sources then post them.........Negativity and skepticism will get you no where in life.
BTW if you can find reliable sources (magazine reviews, etc) of the various models of civics you can email them to the owner of that first site and the webmaster will post them after he verifies the info you have given.

Ok you have made 3 posts and you are going to come on our site and tell people that have made tons more posts and been on here way longer that they are wrong????? Not only are you telling us we are wrong you are getting defensive about it. The fact is that all of those times may be correct, but A the car that ran them is not stock (such as the grand prix that ran a 14.9) or B were really bad runs that my 8 year old sister could beat like the high S2000 times. Therfore since there is no relevent info such as mods or 60ft, 1/8mile the thing is Fvcking useless. So sit back, shut the fvck up and take your place in the fvcking food chain noob, or start thinking of another name for when you get banned from the site.
