does everyone here lack common sense? Because it sure seems like it.
Dude, I'm not comparing potential fool. You and I both know that a Turbo civic will beat a tC, a RSX, and whatever close to those cars that is stock. Am I correct? You know I am and we should both agree on this.
What we don't agree on is kind of weird. Your saying a civic should never be considered faster than a tC based on potential. This is what I consider crap. If a civic is built up, even with a turbo to be faster than a tC or RSX, I say good for the Civic and props too. You can't except that. Why, because of the dollar per horsepower factor?
Why don't you compare an EVO and tC, but take off the turbo of the EVO to make it fair. You don't do that to compare. It's BULL. A faster car, is a faster car. Simple as that. You need to open your eyes because not everyone can start off with a tC, RSX, or EVO and start modding to get faster. Some of us can only afford to pay for a Civic, but wish to have something as fast as a RSX or tC.
I know your from ClubRSX and you used this thread trying to make the 7thgen members looks bad and make yourself look cool by linking to your site. It would be the same way if some guy in an Evo came to your site to bash on your car because it would never have as much potential as the Evo.

I would give the same props too. Notice that i only started commenting negatively on the d17 when a member (Gotti) stepped up and acted like his automatic turbo civic was all that.
I get 21mpg in the vette and average 24mpg or so on the freeway without traffic.
amazing isnt it? dont believe me if you dont want to!
what does the TC get?

Not to change the subject, but I figured you were 30 or something until I just looked at your profile. Where do you work to afford this? Sign me up.
So would you laugh if some beat down 6th gen civic revved at ya? I don't race, but I find it kind of funny how you can consider some people a waste of your time when you don't know exactly what they have. But the Scion TC since it's so new, would probably have few mods.
i think it would take a turbo civic or a supercharged tc to be faster than me.
I haven't looked, but I'm assuming you posted a vid of your hella fast car. Mad props to you. But you are just one of the few RSX cars that are modded that fast. A turbo civic will beat most oem street cars. And that's the point.

alot of the people that race do not race with stock cars, so comparing a modded civic to a stock car is pointless.
HAHA! That was a funny vid. I saw somewhere, maybe in Superhonda, some guy made a vid with his DC5 with his DC headers, basically it was kind of like that, except his sounded like an F1 car.

I guess it's different where you are because anyone with a car in California thinks they are a racer, stock car or not. This is on the streets, and from what I have experienced, nearly any type of car will rev at you. I don't race because I know I will lose to alot of cars out there and I haven't done any performance mods, besides suspension. But that doesn't prevent RSXs, Integras, Preludes, freakin SUVs or Mustangs, even an M3 to rev at me to make me feel slow. If you don't see my point by now, I guess it's all perspective. So all those cars know my stock Civic is slower than them, but they still want to race. Therefore, suprise suprise, people build sleeper turbo civics to kick these kind of people's ass. Period.
"Comparing modded civic to stock car is pointless"???? Then why modify? I guess you only compare your car to other modded RSXs then. I don't see why a Civic EX at around $17,000 out the door can be turboed for less than a RSX type S and be a little faster.
But I don't even know why I argue. I know cars have different potentials and the civic's potential is not nearly as much as an RSX. But to some people, that's all they can afford to start off with. Me...I would probably save up for an RSX too. Love the new 05 Type S that runs mid to high 14s with a CAI.
