we are good friends, always talking.. we just wanted to know if a 9psi civic will beat/catch up to a 350z..
1g is a lot of money, specially for my first real race after i get turbo installed... so we might do it for the fun of it and see what my car can do...
he says he is stock and cant affor mods, but he's willing to throw a G down on a race? pshh...and thats not just the sound of sexCivic's turbo either...
you have a chance to beat him, but it depends on all kinds of things that im sure your aware of, and that i dont feel like typing
Almost all mods for my car cost from 500 to 1200 unlike the Civic. Yeah i can get a CAI for 250 but thats about it, It's a 6 cylander has two headers, to exhuasts, everything is twice as much! a G is not even a pay check! But i like money for other things not just my car!
BTW the worst time i have seen on the Z board was 14.5 the best is 13.66. 15's Psssh Psssh and that isn't the sound of my futer twin turbo!
Is this at the track or road? I think its going to be a close race. I havent seen a Z run at the track, so I couldnt put my 2 cents in about that. The launch and gear changing will determin the winner. Good luck to both and be safe. Vid?
A quote from my 350z forum! i think the most logical
"A Civic Ex at 9psi if tuned should be close to 200whp. Probably in the 170-200whp range. It should be a low 14 second car. If you make a good run you will win, but losing isn't out of the realm of possibilities."
so a 2500 pound car at 200hp against a 3300 lbs car at 275hp but i got 256lbs of torque!!! with 18" 245s in the rear
