Rep Power: 0 Civic vs. Cavalier
Alright, as many of you probably dont know yet, cause i just became a member here, I own a 2003 Honda Civic Ex Coupe and a 2002 Chevy Cavalier Coupe. To be honest, they both are really good cars and both look great suped up. Well ive begun suping up my Civic, but my chevy remains stock (for now). So I am really biased here with this one because today on the freeway I was driving to Milwaukee for this New Years thing in my Civic. I came up on this really sharp looking silver Cavalier with it looked to be gunmetal 18's, body kit, nice exhaust and the works basically. So I looked at him and basically we started to speed up. He smoked me. Period. That has to be the fastest Cavalier I have ever seen, I had it floored for a few seconds and he just took off like a freaking leer jet, and my Civic is far from stock and I have beaten many other suped up vehicles. I just thought this was amazing that a little race like that could make me really want to start seriously workin on the Cavy along with my Honda.

Rep Power: 0 I couldnt tell if it was a Z28 because all the emblems were shaved along with the door handles. It could have had NOS but i dont think anybody would be dumb enough to use a shot of it on the highway with other cars in the area. But who knows, all I know is that he put some definite money into that car.

I raced 2 cavaliers so far in my civic. one was z24 and i lost, though not by much. the other I beat and was a non z24.
for someone who seems to like their cavalier and thinks they look good, i would think you'd have known that no cavalier is a z28.

I'm with you on this one. I think 2002 + Cavaliers have the new Ecotech engines. From what I've heard and been told, they're supposed to be a really big improvement over past years. Slapping on a supercharger and any other tweaking is easy.
Re: Civic vs. Cavalier
if yourealy knew anything about racing cars its not how your carlooks it how your car performs and if you think your civics better than a cavy than look up stock civic vs stock cavalier on youtube it dosnt even have to be stock i promise most of the time the cavalier will win over and over and over dont argue with me just look it up and if its truelly better than ppl that drive civics suck at driving so f u and your noisy little rice burner

back in my naive "street racing" days, my civic with an intake and exhaust beat a cav with intake and exhaust. That matchup really depends on driver skill to be honest.

Re: Civic vs. Cavalier
Actually it was the guy 3 posts up from mine and one of your regular board members who kept it going.
Sorry my one post caused you enough aggravation to go out of your way to comment on my post. I got a faster response from a smart *** answer than I did a legitimate question in another post of mine.

Smart *** comments get smart *** answers. 3 posts 6 months ago still make this a 7 year old thread, that just the last time it was bumped.
I read your other thread and you have two good responses, I don't know what your upset about.
This thread is dead, lets keep it that way please.

Re: Civic vs. Cavalier
thats funny... because your honda only has about 2 thirds of the horsepower your cavalier had, and what half the torque lol?.... oh ya and roughly the same weight. Let me guess it was because you haď some stick on hood scoops that add 22hp each? And maybe a vibrating shift ****
