WATCH OUT FOR SOME CHEAP KITS OUT THERE. THERE IS A LOT OF FACTORIES THAT CUT EVERY CORNER AND SELL FOR $80-$100 WHOLESALE. YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
We tested many of these kits and most of the cheapest factories have a 5-7% defective rate. For some factories over 10% of kits failed after 3-4 months of use.

HARNESS
Many are worried about using the stock harness (Power Source) with HID lights. I have consulted many HID manufacturers regarding the stock harness, here are the facts:
Xenon HID kits do not damage the stock harness. Many manufacturers sell 5,000 kits per month and all their kits plug into the stock harness with no problem. KAIXEN, One of the most trusted HID Manufacturers, does not use the harness.
Xenon HID draws LESS power (35W) than regular halogen lighting.
With that said, if you really don't want to use the stock harness, we can include one with your HID kit. We have an external harness available for our LATSUN brand. If you want a harness please let us know and we can include it with your order for $10 extra.

COLOR AND VISIBILITY
There is a LOT of misinformation on the brightness of HID kits out there. Please read this section carefully before buying an HID kit from ANY factory!
Most sellers advertise Xenon HID as 3 times as bright as Halogen. This is ONLY true for 4300K bulbs! All stock Xenon on BMW/Mercedes/Lexus ETC come with 4100K or 4300K bulbs.
However because of reflector optics, the actual color output has a blue tint. If you want your HID lights to look like stock BMW/Mercedes lights, you want to get 5000K or 6000K bulbs.
4300K is very close to natural sunlight (4000K-5000K depending on time of day) and is not as tiring to the eyes as normal halogen bulbs, which are about 3000K yellow.
As you go up the kalvin scale to 8000K, 12000K, you lose SIGNIFICANT light output. Also with a darker color like 12000K, you lose a lot of penetration, especially in fog/rain/snow conditions.
I highly recommend 4300K (White with a bit of yellow) or 5000K (Pure White) for maximum visibility. I recommend 3000K or 4000K for Fog Lights If you want blue then I recommend 6000K or 8000K.

WARRANTY AND QUALITY
How long your HID kit lasts depends on the quality of the ballasts and the bulbs.
Most factories buy Xenon bulbs from a lighting company (Only 3-4 of them in China, 2 in Korea.. with dozens of Ballast/HID companies buying bulbs from the same factories).
Xenon bulbs last 2500+ hours of actual use. Standard halogen bulbs usually last 300-500 hours. Because of the longer life, Xenon lighting may turn out to cost less than replacing halogen bulbs every few years.
The most common problem with cheaper (Less than $200) HID kits is a defective ballast. A defective ballast may work for a few weeks or months, after which it will stop lighting the bulb.
Some cheaper factories in China have a very high rate of defects (I bought 50 kits (100 ballasts) from a factory at $80 wholesale, and out of the 100 ballasts about 8 were defective 4 months after I sold the kits (8% defective rate). I would not be surprised if the rate is 10-15% 2 years after purchase for such kits.
Other manufacturers do a great job with their ballasts. My favorite factory, GHC, has not had one defective ballast yet, and I've sold about 500 kits (1,000 ballasts) in the last year.
How our warranty returns process works:
If you do end up with a defective bulb or ballast, we will replace it ASAP. We keep spare ballasts in stock for all our manufacturers so we can ship immediately if there is a problem. Ground Shipping is FREE. For $5 You can get 2-3 Day Priority Shipping. For $15 we will overnight the component.
There are two ways to get a replacement part:
#1 Return the defect. We will determine it is a defective part and not damaged by improper use, then ship out a replacement immediately.
#2 Make a Paypal deposit (1/4th of the HID kit price) and we will ship a replacement immediately. Once we receive the defective component and examine it, your paypal deposit will be refunded.
