OK so someone on this board, bought a hood from me... I shipped the hood, SHIPPING COMPANY messes up the hood. So I file a insurance claim for the hood, I am still currently working with the shipping company for the insurance money from the hood. ok, here's the good part. the guy who bought the hood is doing some s hit to his car that he can't pay for...so he gets all pissed at me and tells me to borrow money from my parents to pay him back, of course i am like f u because it's not my fault they messed up your hood, i told him i would get his money as soon as the claim goes through. So being all immature about it he files a complaint through paypal ... kids these days.
He will probably bring up these missing details:
1. I used the money for the hood when I got it, I owed my dad some money so I gave it to him, why else would I sell the hood? Not to spend the money?
2. He put his car in the shop thinking he would have a carbon fiber hood at the time...so he bought mine, now he wants his oney because he can't get his car out of the shop...with my hood or not you should have had the money to get it out of the shop, i could see if i was buying the hood from him....and sending him money but it was the other way.
In conclusion Oh well.... now my paypal thing probably says i am a bad sender/buyer/seller/ whatever
in other words to much grief...i have to school to deal with and all this shi t, the shipping company is near my hometown which is 7 hours form my college... just a stressful week.
Because this complaint was filed 30 or more days after the original
transaction date, we will not be continuing our investigation.

Well, let me tell you about my experience. I purchased a 4 piece Kaminari body kit from a guy on the site. His user names are kano8016 and wild5tylez, his real name is Michael Kane. He is in the Chicago area. I sent the money to him through Western Union and the agreement was that he would send the kit upon receipt of the money. To make a long story short he sold the kit to 2 other members on this site. One of which lives in the Chicago area and paid for and received the kit in person. I have not heard from Mike since, and I have heard similar problems from a couple other members since this happened. I have filed charges with the Maryland State Police and the Internet Fraud Complaint Committee (IFCC).

Saying you can't guarantee you said something is a pathetic defense. You offered me nothing, how is $75 store credit going to get me a new airdam. I sincerely appreciate it but I'm not looking for a handout from you. I paid good money for a defective airdam. The topic is not done.

Who would want to buy a defective part? Now you are telling me your only defense is that you "cannot guarantee that you said that"? Can I post that for the members to read?

I understand what you are saying, but I canot guarantee that I said that. I dont claim things I cannot back up. It is not worth all this fuss.
I DID NOT DO THIS ON PURPOSE!!!! This is why I dont deal with ImportTrendz anymore. I know this order was LONG time ago, cause I have filed several complaints with the BBB about them. You are not the only customer where the same thing happened due to their negligence.
I can offer you some type of store credit...i can do $75 store credit fro your troubles.
Let the members know that I offered that as a humble apology.
Again, I apologize.
I hope you can find a local buyer to help get some of the money back.

Hey Rob...I did bring the problem to your attention the day I received the email from Kaminari stating that they do not fold their bumper pieces in half like mine was when I received it and that they only ship their products in Kaminari boxes, mine was in a home-made box. Sure a lot of time has gone by, but this information shows that I did not receive what I had ordered. On the phone you told me the part would be coming directly from Kaminari which it obviously did not. This is a special circumstance that should not be covered up by your return policy. That is not good business and you should realize that. I realize you have a great record on the forum and like I said I have even recommended you to several guys. Right is right and wrong is wrong. If I can't get any kind of return or replacement then I am obviously screwed. I'm just letting the members know what happened to me so that they will throughly check their planned purchases from Tornactive.

If you had brought it to my attention the moment you recieved the item, I would have replaced NO PROBLEM!!!
Plz dont post off topic stuff in this thread ( ie: Responses to ppls claims, giving advice, flaming, etc. )- it is solely for letting others know who scammed them and to be aware of certain users (ie person who posts same item for sale, uses same address etc). If you need to reply to someone, please PM them! The Moderators will be editing this thread accordigly.

I did put it off a lil at first but I finally found a good box and shipped it. It was shipped on the same day as a few of my items that I also sold that week (including the DC SPORTS knob) He says he didn't get the coils yet, I kno it arrived it's been more than 2 weeks, and I sent it 3rd class 4-5 days. When I ask him he tells me he's sending out the money ASAP and he lives in a bad hood so someone coulda stole them.

About the intake yes it does fit if you dont believe it ask anyone in Team ikon, because that was in my ex before it was in your car all you needed was brackets but for the deal you got it for that was more then good. Hey Guys, I seems kind of funny this guy (Richie Ho) or (TeamIkon) didn't have internet access for a month, but as soon as his phone number is posted, he suddenly reappears with a shady excuse. I didn't know it was so hard to get internet access these days. Strangely, he had no problem cashing your money orders a month earlier. Even if his excuses are legit, which I find very hard to believe, he was totally irresponsible. Hope you guys get your parts. Good luck.
As for Todd Jager, I still do NOT have the 130dollar Money order.

1SIKCIVIC or SHOWCASE CIVIC, or what ever his name is, scammed me on a TRADE. we agreed to trade my DG MOTORSPORTS Carbon Fiber Spark Plug Cover for his newly acquired GOODRIDGE Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines. i have emailed him numerous times since he recieved my DGM CF spark plug cover, but he has yet to email me back and its been almost a month now since i shipped it out. i know he recieved my product because he posted it up on his members ride section as having the part on his car now. i just want to warn all of you of this shady @ssh0le, and dont trip, cuz he will get repayed soon when i go to LA. dude, if your reading this, just remember punk, i have your address and plan on paying your car a visit!

CivicChick2k1Ex wanted to trade fenders so i told her i'd do it. i gave her all my info and was wating for hers. Then she got her head stuck up her $## and canceled all sales saying that she hasn't herd from anyone, and i emailed her a day or 2 before. So Please take this as a warning. Not to mention I had to park my car for a week because i had to take my fenders to ship them.
