ok I spoke with barney about buying a type S bov about 3 1/2 to 4 months ago. he said BOV and flange. well I buy it and it gets here but no flange. so i pm him and he says he has it at home and forgot to send it but he will call his wife and have her send it. then I pm him again the he said it would get sent, Not sent. 1 month goes by and I ask where it is. Well he needs to get one from "His guy" even though he had one at his house that his wife was supposed to send .another month goes by and he still hasn't gotten it in. so I ask him to send me paypal for however much he gets them for and i'll pay the diff. Well no response to any of those pm's. . I keep bugging and he tells me He has it and it was to be sent monday"I PROMISE!" well barney promise wasn't worth anything. I pm him monday and no response even though I checked his activity and saw he was on after i pm'ed him. I PM again tuesday no response but he was acitive. PM wed. he was on again, no response. and he was just on 20 min ago and no response. Take in mind that he doesn't live in japan or anything he lives in coco, fl and im in Miami. only about 2.5 hours away. So I have an appointment to get my boost dyno tuned next monday. I started installing already and it has to be done by next weekend and the dam flange that was suppsed to be hear 4 months ago is going to throw me all off. A mans only as good as his word! If he can't send me a flange and I live this close to him I def. wouldn't trust him to send something more Important accoss country .I was patient enough and didn't want to put you out there but you lied and broke your word

well this is the I don't have the part and im gonna lead me on phil. I really wouldn't be this pissed if he told me after I first bought it and asked about the flange if he told me he made a mistake and he didn;t have it. then I would have gone out and baught one 3 months ago. but now Im cutting it close to miss my tunning date and now im stuck because I kept waiting be cause he always told me it was coming. the he told me it was sent monday and he keeps dodgeing my pm's. I hate when people want to play games.IMO even if you screwed up be a man and take responsibility for it. don;t make a million excuses. now im screwed 10x harder

Plus I had to order a new Flange and have it overnighted.

that sucks but could have been worse... my neighbor bought a fully-built ls/vtec mtr off ebay for $4000 and got scammed. Still hasnt seen any money.

personally i don't see barney as the Take you money and run kinda guy, i mean c'mon he drives a purple civic all day, by his choice, why would a guy in a purple civic intentionally rip you off of a flange this whole time?? he's prob been real busy, give him a call and make him reimburse you... you'll be good

well he hasn't been too busy to reply to my pm's in the past and i guess he's been busy the whole 4 months that I have been asking where my flange is

all i can say is keep hassling him to send you the flange, or send you money for reimbursement on from the one you purchased, that's the only thing that needs to be done now, and everyone is better, he'll still have a bad rap from you, but all mends with be tied

before I ordered my flange I asked him to paypal me the amount that he buys them for to me and i'll pay the difference, but he responded back that he promised he would send it last monday.
