i traded him my g5 front lip for his driver's side fender, but little did i know thar his fender was reapinted and didnt match the stock paint worth crap. but no, he never mentioned this and lead me to believe it was perfect and now my car looks like ass with a fender about 3 shades darker
and if you are wondering how i know it was repainted, i looked close at the paint and noticed grooves from where it was sanded down to repaint cause the guy who painted it did a shitty job.

Uh oh...silver is a really hard "exact" match... Not defending this guy, but I have a silver 'vic and have had similar problems...just not that drastic.

I had that problem when I first had my front lip painted - my EL was already a year old and the guy painted it using OEM paint, not accounting for fade. Looked pretty far off, I was pissed. Silver IS a hard match though. Still, if he'd had it repainted he shoulda let you know. Good luck fixin it up man.
