Got rip off? Beware PartrickB or Member selling Koni Shocks w/o actual photo!
I bought some koni using paypal from this guy PatrickB on Feb 2nd from this link The shocks were used (used over a year) and he told me I may want to have them check at knoi to make sure the valve and stuff working properly. That was fine with me. It took over a month to get the koni (he kept making excuses like snow storm, left some stuff in friend house, computer broke). The guy seemed to be nice and was fine with me. I waited and finally received the package. I opened the box and could immediately tell the shocks were messed up. They were unusable and missing tons of little misc to complete the set up. He never told me any of that. Well I thought aright I could use the warranty for the shocks. However I didn't know I needed a receipt, registration and cc to prove I was the owner. I messaged him and he told me he would find me the old receipt. If he couldn't find it he would gladly refund me back the money. That was 2 weeks ago and he never get online again. What can I do? Can I get my money back if I call my CC or paypal?
His paypal ID is patrick@ourpad.org and he lives in KY. He claimed he sold a few stuff b4. So if anyone dealt with this guy, please let me know. Or any suggestion on what I can do. I was stupid that I didn't ask for his phone #. Any help is welcome. Thanks!

sorry to hear that, its really hard to trust some people when it comes to selling parts etc. Do what i do to be cautious i never buy nothing if that person dont have a feedback,or if he have lil post like 10, always ask for picture. and whatever comes to mind, but in ur case its hard to do something because everthing has been exchange, you can try ur bank acct if you regester that under paypal, and see what the bank can do but, really there is nothing you can do unless you file a court order on his ass.
I just call my credit card company. The lady told me to just ship back everything. Then make a copy of the tracking #, mail it back along with a claim form (should recieve in mail in a few days). They will review it and most likely refund back my money.
It was my mistake of trusting him without pictures. Anyway I hope I can get my money back and thanks for all the help!
Well I hope you get your money back. If you don't where abouts does he live in KY? I'm in Ohio right the river and would have no problem getting some friends and paying him a little visit.
Thats funny Dacivic. You want to complain about someone else considering you just screwed me on a trade.
Yea we were supposed to trade his Tanabe SRM for my Thermal R&D. Everything was cool untill he was like, "Sorry i sold it to someone else."
What an @ss. I spent a good part of the day taking my exhaust off and when i came in to tell him that i got it off. I had that PM sent to me....@SSHOLE
I am extremely sorry about that ohiojash78. It was my fault completely. If I had another way to contact you beside using 2k1civic.com PM I would already do so. I sent you PM few days ago and I thought you already saw that. I couldn't resist the offer by someone else because I needed money more at the moment than exhaust. At first I thought my bank could get my money back and I was happy. Then recently I called back on checkup and they told me I probaby wouldn't get my money back. I already kept Mex waiting for a while (since I promised a long time ago I would buy the coilover from him when I got my refund) and I needed some shocks pretty badly (mine were blown for a while)
I just noticed you already gave me bad feedback w/o talking with me. That's fine! I know a few words can't get the anger out of you. But I hope that you will understand what happen here. I got rip off 360 dollars and it isn't easy for me to earn that money back.
