04 civic AC inop

my A/C in my car was working last summer then didn't need it during the winter times. Now that is getting warmer I turned my A/C back on and there is no cold air blowing out. The fan is working and blowing air in but it's not cold. Any thoughts on what I need to check?

Thanks

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: 04 civic

You turn on the AC....

Temp control set to COLD? (seriously, every season we have to do this for some customers)

Open the hood and see if the radiator fans are running.
See if the compressor is running.

Re: 04 civic

The AC gas could need a recharge, though it would be odd that the gas failed rapidly like that rather than gradually.
