Hey guys. New member here. I've only ever been a part of local forums, and of course Honda-Tech. I've been in Honda's since my first car. Enough of that though, here is the beast I have a love-hate thing with. My 95 Civic.
Here is my baby. It's a 1995 Honda Civic DX. "Eg coupe or EJ2"
It's a love-hate relationship with it. We've had some awesome times stomping some v8's and some little ricer boys and their "built" SRT-4's.
Here's the breakdown-
Engine/ Drivetrain / Exhaust
B16 Top End
B18b1 Bottom End
Bored to 84mm
Cp Pistons
Pauter Rods
Benson Sleeved
Benson Micropolished crankshaft
ACL Race bearings
Type R Oil pump
Golden Eagle LS/Vtec kit
Blackworks Adjustable cam gears
Blackworks Block Plug
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Hondata Thermal Intake Gasket
Neukin ramhorn manifold
TiAL Mv-r wastegate
Garrett gt3076r .82ar
Greddy Type S Blowoff
Eat Sleep Race Edition Gold Intercooler
Mishimoto Aluminum Rad
Mishimoto Aluminum Fan Shroud
Mishimoto 12v E-Fan
Password JDM Carbon Kevlar Cooling Plate
Blackworks Rad stay
Rywire Milspec Harness
Chasebays Aluminum Overflow Can
Vibrant Couplers
Hondata s300
ID 1000CC Injectors
3" Dump exhaust
Open wastegate
Suspension/ Brakes/ Wheels
Skunk2 Pro-s Coilovers
Rota RB 15x7 +35 Rims
Hankook Ventus RS3 tires
Body/ Interior
Prelude SR seats
3 pod A Pillar gauge mount
Glowshift boost gauge
Glowshift Oil pressure gauge
AEM wideband
Amber instrument cluster
To be installed
Full rear disc swap
AEM Water Meth Injection
Ported and Polished head
S2 Pro Series full Valvetrain
This car and I have quite a history together. A lot of work has been put into it and I think it shows. Last run on the dyno yielded 391.9whp @6600rpm. I was having ignition issues that my tuner couldn't figure out. Turns out my plug gap was too wide. Great tuner, huh? I feel a solid 450whp is attainable. It's probably already there, but I haven't been back to the dyno since.

I get a lot of those guys. Ones with the "bigger is ALWAYS better" attitude. I show them what's up and that's it. I'm a car enthusiast. I respect, and enjoy, all types of vehicles. I recognize when hard work has been put into their vehicle and treat it as such.
With that being said, on the daily I get "those guys" To which I mean the guys with something always bigger and better. For example, a guy who told me his twin turbo crx built 7psi before the turbos spooled. Or a guy on a bike who asked me how fast my car goes. I politely responded "318km/h, the math was done, I've never been that fast." And he told me going that fast on a bike, if he hit a deer, he'd cut it in half and keep going. I'm sure you guys have had similar instances, but I think the plate brings more of the fanboys out. Which I quite enjoy.
