Hello, I'm new here, and wish you all the best.

I've owned 4 Hondas:
1988 Honda Accord DX Coupe
1995 Honda Civic EX Coupe
2004 Honda Civic EX Coupe
2005 Honda Civic EX Special Edition sedan.

My '95 had 236k when I parted ways with it. My current ride ('05) just passed 152k.

I never would have owned this 2005 if my Volvo experience panned out. I read up on the mythology of the Volvo 240s, ended up with a 940 Volvo instead, which was repair after repair after repair. Now that I'm back in my 4th Honda, 3rd Civic, I'm currently trying to sell it but am upside down on it. I THINK I won't be disappointed if I hold onto it, but further assurance is never unneeded.

My question/inquiry of this thread is to see how high of mileage you all have hit with your Hondas, and what has been needed to hit it.

If I keep my Civic, I hope I can break the 300k mark.

My 2005 Civic vp coupe had 240k miles(bought it new) on it when i sold it in March. Thing was a tank, car was getting old and didn't feel like doing major maintenance down the road. Great car i must say, we'll see how the Subie holds up.

My 98 has 243 on it. Just picked it up going to drive it till the wheels fall off

Welcome. Just maintance, and By maintenance I pretty much mean oil changes. I don't usually do radiator, brake and tranny flushes like I should.

1988 Accord Lx - 290K was rear ended. Drove it to the junk yard.
1994 Accord Lx - 180K traded it in. Wanted a manual and nicer Honda
2001 Civic Lx - 170K current vehicle.

2000 CRV - 170k Dads extra "beater" car not original tranny.bhe let it run low on fluid. I'm sure it would still be going good if it didn't.

Yeah, I really like the CR-Vs and Elements, but gas mpg is holding me back, and I wasn't sure how reliable the older CR-Vs were.

Just bought this yesterday. Waited a long time to finally get into on of these. This will now be my DD. Anyhow picked it up and drove it 4 hours back home with zero issues. Smooth as silk was very impressed with the car.

That's an awesome SI, ideal example of a high mileage Civic. My 95 had both bumpers held on by zip ties and Gorilla tape, the passenger door wouldn't open, and I painted it myself with flat black rustoleum...

Hi all. I'm new,this is my first post. Just picked up my VERY FIRST civic ever. Not pretty,but gets good mpg. It's a 90 model civic hatch dx. Current od is on 246,xxx and still has plenty of power left. Looking to do a restore of the car so for the experts on these things,I'll be talking specs with you soon.

Wow, That blue EM1 is impressive. My '03 civic ex just rolled in 168k. Zero issues.
