i'll post a few more pics when it's nice enough to finish the header cover paint and a few minor touch ups.
i'm thinking of re-painting the rims and brakes with the same look but in white. it's just that the striping takes soooo bloody long.

I love your rims, very jealous of them! oh btw, i have that same thing in my engine (the thing you said might have been a subframe).
My civic has it, but my parents civic and Shift-E's civic don't have it, so i'm confused lol

Yeeaa when a mod reps you, you get bonus rep That being said you two are talking about two different pictures. The piece you painted mac isn't the subframe it's the rad support. DarkSouljur the piece you are talking about is the ABS modulator It's the nice shiny piece. (At least I think you two were talking about different pictures) I gotta say the rad support looks pretty good painted black you did a good job with it.
DS if your car has ABS it has the modulator which explains why your parents and shift-E's doesnt.

if my header cover burns again, ima be soooo pissed! used exhaust paint this time, but the two colours didn't mix too well, some small cracking can be seen on the white.

VCC has meets five times a week, the revscene meets are better though, the crowd is a lot more mature.
Mac, you should get a set of spoon reservior covers, they're cheap and match your colour scheme perfectly.

ya i might look in to me =D. mindbomb tell me if you're going to any of the RS meets, i've been to like 3 this month.
i'd love to paint the block but i'd need a hell of a lot of time off and a hoist.

I might wait until I get nicer wheels until I go to another, I hate my cheap rims compared to the sick cars at meets. Hopefully I'll be getting a set of xxr 006 18s this summer if not fall, stupid problems just keep coming up.
Your block would be a huge job to paint lol.. Why not just do the valve cover for now?

Re: mac25 build
repainted my rims again.
-sanded old paint off
-masked off crome lip and tire
-sprayed sandable primer
-sanded the primer
-sprayed black
-applied pinstripe tape
-sprayed clear coat.
this took me, no joke, from 2pm to 11:30pm, then i had to clean up...
i really miss the yellow, a lot of people who know my car by the yellow and poked fun at it are also sad to see it go now.
but with real stipes the over all finish is way cleaner and goes better with my engine.

mwwaaa thanks Lopes, and everyone! you make me deffinatley want to keep working on her =D.
i really want a stage one cam.
i've also been looking into DIY auto body paint (not rattle cans, don't wory, lol), but it's pricey and takes skill.
or even a wrap. there's a gorgeous matt white wrapped 08 bmw coupe i've seen at a few meets.

first mod of the year =D! just a small one, but it makes the car look way cleaner.
this isn't quite legal in BC, so please look into your local laws before doing the same. that being said not all cars in bc even have front plates, and mine looks almost stock.
painted it matte white with black lettering.
