Rep Power: 0 Just don't forget to change the proportioning valve... the car won't feel good and will actually brake worse unless that's changed
Might want to take a look at the SI's Master Cylinder also, I'm not sure but it probably has a larger bore then the stock Civic's.

Rep Power: 0 AFAIK, the hatch uses an electric distribution system so it doesn't have a valve for purposes of this discussion. You'll probably need the Acura EL valve or something similar because if you use the stock Civic valve you won't have enough pressure to the rear discs (your brakes will become very biased to the front)

The DX has it's own valve that isn't shared with anything else
sounds like someone looked up one part number and then didn't bother to look at the part

Rep Power: 322 Ok....I got it installed today. It was a lot easier than i expected...The only problems was the left ebrake cable was kinda short and i only bolted 2 of the 3 brackets that are on there and the other i just used zip tie lol...And the other problem was the right side brake line that connects to the rubber hose, it was leaking a bit. But after drivin it for a while it stopped so its good now . And yes it feels a lot better and no it doesnt lock up in the rear.....Ill have pics tomorrow........

However my car (a 2004 EX) has valve 46210-S5A-812 (whoops, that’s not the same valve now is it) and valve 46210-S5A-922 is what I have seen referenced as belonging to the Civic LX (the 46210-S5A-912 valve is what I’ve seen as the DX valve)
