Project K20a2 Civic Type S in progess (update #3 k20 is in)
well as you may or may not know, my car decided to be a submarine alittle while ago and my d17 hydro-locked. Well today i picked up the heart doner for my car. 2002 RSX Type S with 4,085 miles on it.

Big thanks to csjrishere for getting me the car and making this possible. If you need a car talk to him, trust me on this he's a great guy to deal with.

heres the reason the car was totaled (just needs alittle paint)

Already put the seats in and just got the car today


Yes i'm doin the 5 lug conversion


I will keep this thread updated daily with pics of our progress of the installation. Me and my friend are doin it DIY style

Nice job man!! How much did you get the car for if you don't mind me asking. I'm intrested in swaping a K20A2 in my SI and wouldn't mind getting a wrecked RSX.

Whats needed off the car is: Motor/trans, ECU, wiring harness, subframe, axles (i'm using the RSX ones but if you wanna keep the car 4 lug 02-03 SI ones will work)

For me i'm doin the 5 lug conversion, so front lower control arms, spindles, entire brake assembly. master cylinder (possibly).

Extras im using are the seats (front and rear), rear sway bar (which amazingly is not bent), steering wheel (hoping to get SI bag cover and bag). Everything else i'm gonna sell.

Whos doing the installation for you? I'm guessing DIY. What about the Tranny, pedals etc.. any extra parts you might need for this? Or is every part with the RSX?

Me and my friend are doin it at his shop. Tranny i have in the car, pedals you can use stock ones. Only extra's i need to buy are the hasport mounts, a radiator (probably aftermarket), hoses, Injen SRI (NO COLD AIR!), and a 6 speed shift knob
