I finally finished my retrofit and it's been running well for more than a month now. Thank you to everyone who contributed DIY retrofit threads. Special thanks to Gearbox, slowwhitecivic, and sl33pyriceboi for answering my endless idiotic questions.
TSX projectors
D2S Philips 85122 Bulbs
Ebay set of headlights
50W Ballasts from ebay user: yourhid
E46 Style shrouds
LEDs from oznium.com
Without further ado [MORE PICS TO COME]:
Opening up the headlights.
Painted the shields black with high temp ceramic paint.
Mounted the projector to the headlight.
Cut an opening.
Only to realize that I couldn't close the headlight. So I had to cut off the top.
Test fitting and aimed the projectors.
I taped off the edges of the projector to prevent dust from getting inside.
Painted the reflector a flat black.
Had to make sure everything worked.
Fitting it all together.
Heat shrinking the LEDs.
A mess of wiring.
Testing the LEDs with a little Duracell.
Need to mount the shroud to the reflector.
JB welded together.
Held together with tape as the silicone adhesive is curing.

yeah that happens with almost every projector setup, even halogen. they have such a good cutoff that its completely dark above and very bright below. most people have no idea that when a car goes over bumps or up a hill, the headlight housings also move with the car and shine light upwards. you dont have this problem as much with reflectors because they already have so much glare above the cutoff that its hard to tell when you see the light below.
