cheap tune ups for civics??

i have a 1998 honda civic ex. and i'm just wondering what kinda stuff i can do to it to make it a lil faster, but for a cheap price? it has the stock motor, and i took the stock intake out and just put a filter on a piece of the stock tube. nothing else really done to it. just looking for shit to do to it. it has 161k miles. 2 dr. any ideas??
looking for anything, even just little fun things to do.

motor swap. nothing short of a turbo will make your Y8 fast for cheap. bolt on's dont really give alot of power. some loose power.

at that many miles no mod is really worth it. keep it relatively stock and continue to daily drive it. buy a beater for 500, get a good motor and turbo it. and then enjoy the fruits of your labor. it will be very worth it in the end.

is there any good places to get one, like places to get nice ones?

A GSR motor is nice, its what mine is. boosted :P. B20, K20. depends on your budget and what kind of power you are looking for.
