just start out small, grab a service manual and read thru that to get an idea of the parts and systems and what they do. if you wanna go aftermarket and upgrade some parts, theres all sorts of stuff like intakes and exhaust. it all depends what kind of car you want in the end, show, race, audio, etc. just fix it up the way you like.
