oh man this doesnt look good from their website. it says they do not refund shipping, or pay for return shipping. so when this is all done, im gonna be robbed out of $100 for nothing.
called 3x, they dont answer the phone. still no email reply. i want all my money back so looks like im gonna have to call corporate and start a claim there. anyone have the number? i already packed up most of my stuff and cant search for it now.
okay well i just got a reply to my phone message, they said they never got my email, whatever, but at least they are working with me. supposedly they are sending out a new lip tomorrow, and having ups pick up the old one sometime this week. so far that looks like good news.... we will see what the new one looks like.
FYI - HandA-accessrories is CarMichael Honda in Citrus Hills, CA 95621. I don't understand why they must profit on the shipping. I purchased a rear OEM lip for my Prelude from a Honda dealer in GA, their cost for UPS ground - $8, HandA's shipping cost $44 for the EXACT SAME PART! I can understand people on ebay doing this, BUT A HONDA DEALER?, PLEASE!!!
^^^they are shipping from a different place so shipping charges will be different, and depending on how far you are from the place they are shipping from of course it will be more from some palces... but i do agree with you that some people/places profit some off of shipping.
yeah the box is as long as the hall way and about 3 ft high. its the original honda box and i can easily see shipping being 50. I tried to ship a box of headlamps to hawaii and ups wanted 115. its a ripoff which is why im done sending stuff. too expensive these days. i remember not too long ago i was paying only $5 to ship a small box, now its over $10 after the fuel fees and inflated prices.
ahhhh UPS. They are my friends. Isnt HandA just a parts department from a dealership, or am I thinking of majestichonda? Good luck with that refund process.
yeah they both are dealers. majestic is just much cheaper. the local dealer here charges 200% markup from list lol. i got ripped a few times from them before i realized majestic shipped parts were often hundreds cheaper. dealer here wanted $100 for one rear door side moulding, got it shipped from majestic for $40. dealer wanted $400 for oem front lip, and $90 for those plastic fender covers, which on majestic is only $25+sh.
well update, they were very quick about getting me a new one shipped and taking back the old one, i just got the second one today and its in pretty good shape. a few of those stress lines at the corner, but im not gonna make a big deal again. its good enough.
