Re: IT'S RUNNING!!!! Page 40 Video - Speedfoos' Turbo Install
LOL - once again I show the disparity between my advanced years and severely retarded maturity level!
Now here's the funny thing. I've been running that wiring setup for 2 months now with zero problems. I guess once I tied in another 8 watts with the other three gauges, it was tripped the overload level on the VSS circuit. Strange.
But I gives a rat's ass now. It's working and I'm happy.
Big thanks again to Chris, Paul, my Dad, Eric, and everyone else I called today for helping me trouble shoot this issue. I wonder what will go wrong next!

There's a good chance that I'm not going to answer your PM.
Re: IT'S RUNNING!!!! Page 40 Video - Speedfoos' Turbo Install
Well, first thing is that I have to put the car back together. Right now it looks like George Clinton had a Britney Spears moment and the salon threw the remains into my passenger compartment and engine bay.
Once I get all that cleaned up, I still have a few more things to do.
Tomorrow after my daughter's soccer game and the brake and suspension job on two of my friends' vehicles, I teach myself to MIG weld and fix my exhaust leak. I'll be putting a 2.5" flange on the back of the cat since it chokes down to 1.75". This will fix my leak and length problems.
I need to re-route my coolant lines since I've simply created a loop between the heater hose and my turbo so nothing is circulating right now.
For you TB coolant line folks, did you run your water feed off the top or bottom port on the TB? Right now my setup is this:
Top TB port ---> turbo in ----> turbo out ---> TB return port on water neck.
I think I need to be:
Heater hose on back of block---> turbo in ---> turbo out ---> bottom TB port
Sanity check please.
After that, Chris (WilmncChris) has the idle basemap, I just need to pay him tonight, and we can techinically start tuning once these issues (and that MAP issue I mentioned) are fixed. So I'm thinking by Monday (still need the real alt. belt, the sock falls off) I'll be rolling. However, this RSX-S injectors on 4 psi bit is only going to last for a week. Then it's 8 psi on the SRT-4s once the clips from Paul get here! So really, if the basemap works one the MAP sensor issue is worked out, then there's no point in tuning until I can put the SRT-4s and new WG spring in.
