Door skins (minus mirrors, handles and wiring harness) are going to the scrap heap soon. The rest of the carcass is in my truck to go to the scrapyard today.
If any of you local peeps want this stuff, speak up now or it's gone.
Here's the carcass. I got some new workbenches too. The local Goody's was going out of business so I got three 3-piece sets for $50/each.
And Sugar is cut up into bite size bits and loaded into Piggy.
A little space cleared....

She's home!!!!
It was a real bitch getting it hooked up to the tow dolly in the pouring rain at 37°. Fingers were numb, absolutely miserable! But it's home and I love it. I am so stoked for this build. This car has so much character and is freaking solid.
Here she is waiting to get strapped in. Forgive the blurry spots. I dropped my camera in a puddle and it was acting up a little bit.
Am I excited? Yes, I am.
Donovan on the left and Chris, the guy I bought it from on the right. Seemed like a good dude.
Ready to roll home!!
Two hours later and we're home. Note the Sugar carcass in the background.
My daughter likes it too.
Off the tow dolly.....
...and into the garage. Don't worry, the glass is in the door.
Skullz are hard on my "billet" Ford Ranger alloys!!!

I scored a set of gauges today off Ebay. I love them. They're from a '56 DeSoto. I may have paid a little too much, but I really like them. Hopefully I can make them work!

Yeah a scrap yard local to me had that truck and came and just dragged it on up. I have a pickup, but really didn't feel like cutting it to pieces unless they were going to charge me!
