Re: Hey Foos! Make me a Sammich! (Pg 97) - The Speedfoos' Turbo Thread!!
Dude, gots no email from you. civic_gt3071r@yahoo.com, you sure you emailed to the right address?
I did not throw a CEL at all on the way to the parking lot. On the way into work, I was on fumes, so I gassed up. After gassing up, I had the usual bitch of a time starting the car and then I drove another 100 yards to the parking lot, it was running like shit per normal after a hard warm start. I made sure the car was idling relatively normal after a minute or so, and then shut it off. This was at 0730.
At 1000 me and buddy we're heading to the gym as usual, hop in the car and she won't start. Period, at all. This too, has happened before. I figured, "No problem. We'll take your car and this will sit and unflood itself by the time I leave work at 4:30".
4:30 rolls around and she still doesn't start. I walk to the gas station, buy some starting fluid, have a bitch of time squirting into an IM vacuum line, and still no start. We give two attempts at a push start. Nope. And that's where I left off.
Stock plugs are gapped to whatever they're normally gapped to, .040 I think. Definitely too much, but they worked to get me home. The BKRs are gapped .031. I'm going to run the gap up to .035 and see how they work.
What are these 2668s you're talking about? Do you have a link to them where I can buy them online? I know the BKRs are a problem, but I also think my tune has something to do with it as well. I'm going to futz with that in the morning.

Naw Matt, no COD4 yet. I'm about to get Hellgate:London for the PC as that looks pretty tits. It should be in by morning. My next X360 game is Gears of War, followed by COD4. Damn things are so expensive though so it will be a month or so before I buy them.

Re: Hey Foos! Make me a Sammich! (Pg 97) - The Speedfoos' Turbo Thread!!
was it turning over?? why would you try to roll start it if it was turning over? just a simple question, no harshness meant
i actually think the 2668's im using are like .028 actually. .031 is a good number, but mine seems to be working fine at stock gap. these plugs i linked you are 1 step colder.
Re: Hey Foos! Make me a Sammich! (Pg 97) - The Speedfoos' Turbo Thread!!
oh, when you pulled the plugs out to put your stockers in, were they black? i know you know about this, but in case you forget, just make sure you arent running super rich and perm fouled the plugs up with thos srt's
Re: Hey Foos! Make me a Sammich! (Pg 97) - The Speedfoos' Turbo Thread!!
Nope. Got the one from your gmail you just sent, not your yahoo though. Odd. Not in the spam folder either.
Yeah it was turning over, but I figured a bump start might force things into action. So much for that. I never had problems starting with the RSX-S injectors, just the SRT-4s. Not sure why. I think it has to do with the tune which I'll fuck with tomorrow.
When I pulled the plugs, they were wet with fuel. Color was still nice and brown though. Once the car starts, those plugs are fine. It just has a hard time with warm starts for some reason. I'll order those plugs you linked me here in a little bit.
Since I don't want to work on the car, I wrapped my DP instead. **TIP** Wear gloves and don't itch your face after you wrap something when not wearing gloves.
40-foot roll of 2" wrap that cost me $24 on Ebay.co.uk. Not bad, all things considered.
Took me all of 5 minutes to wrap the DP and put a worm clamp on the bottom to hold it. I'll probably paint it with black Rustoleum BBQ paint tomorrow so it matches my mani wrap.

nice. i need to find me some black wrap damnit. ill send you the shit on my gmail DIFFICULT. haha j/p
you need to lower the number on your 0-500 rpm range on your map bro, your dumping too much fuel and saturating the plugs right off the get go, it sounds like.
stock pressure with stage 1's, although i dont have any experiance (yet) (fuckers didnt come in today, guess will be monday, damnit), i would assume dump an ASSLOAD of fuel for a 1.7 at crank. try to pull off as much as possible in the map. on your wideband after you try to start it and it sits for a sec with power still on, does it show hella rich? im sure it does, or would, if you could see it, but just wanted to see. i was haivin that prob when i wasnt keeping a steady pressure and not enuf fuel was going in every stroke, but when it did spray, i was running so damn rich it was staying at 10 on my WB for like 30sec, lol.
