Well, here's my winter project as a result of this. Everyone, please thank Jesus for creating deer, not giving them very large brains, and letting them be fixated by oncoming lights.
Mechanical
- install new EL mani, DP and DT
- swap the head and valve train
- get the cam machined for the lobe I damaged
- install the new rail, FPR, and run everything for the return conversion
- pull out the PCS and sell it with the harness and MAP sensor
- weld together the new exhaust (using my same muffler and resonator)
Body
- get all the glass pulled out
- fix my bondo work with proper tools and materials
- prime it
- paint it
- clear it
Interior
- pull the interior out (seats, dash, everything)
- find where I'm leaking in the right rear into the trunk
- install sound deadening material throughout the inside
Rollers
- remove tires from wheels
- strip and paint the wheels
That should just about do it!
After ordering everything, I went up to Maryland for a week for some Army stuff, and Andy (andyman97) was gracious enough to put me up at his place for the week. Good dude.
Parts were rolling in while I was gone though. I got home to this tonight!
But those are just boxes.
Onward to pitchers I say!
The eggshawst tubin'. I thought about going stainless, but then realized I want to murder out (my favorite new phrase, thanks Jake) the bottom of my car. So it's getting painted black after I weld on the v-band flanges. Woof!
I didn't even have to rob a jewelry store to get this grill. Nelly is a moron.
Well hello there little snail shell! You look better than those other ones the french people dip in butter and eat! V-band turbine housing. Soooooo nice.
Got the windshield cowl cover because mine has been all busted since the hail damage. Plus new window arm rest trim, windshield seal (cuz the glass is getting pulled) and some caps for ma nuts.
On the wipers.
New eyeballs, but the eye sockets haven't gotten here yet. Can't remember if the Xentec ones were good or not. We'll see. They were cheap and they have a warranty.
New wings!!!
Oh wait.
I'm back in the US now. I can call them fenders again.
Gots sidemarkers with them too cuz I bought the fenders with the holes already cut in them. These cost $40 more than the regular ones with no holes. Well worth it if you ask me, especially since I fucked up the holes on my last fenders.
They are soooooooooo JDM though. Made in Taiwan.
I won't hold it against them though. There sticker gets put on my laptop.
And lookee! New squirters from Andy! 675ccs of 93 octane delivery widgets!
That's all for today folks!
