Does the LX have a passenger airbag?
I'm fairly certain that mine was from an LX. Too long ago to find the auction. Seems to work fine to me

EDIT: I looked on the first page, and my second post was that I was going from an EX to an LX cluster. In that respect....You're fine. All my lights work, ABS, SRS, Et cetera...

i dont know where mine came from wether an LX or EX but i have a red one. but i dont have an ABS light. i have an EX and followed the wire diagram to a T and one wire that was in the diagram i didnt have. the original writeup was done by a dude with an auto...since i didnt have an auto i dont think i had this wire.. and i didnt have any wires left over except the withe/red one. i dunno?

awesome thanks. Im going from auto to auto so hopefully thats one thing i have going in my favor. I'll post pics when im doing it before/after. I already did one swap from 01 to 02(i think) because i preferred the black gauges over the gray ones, but that was just plug and play.

Re: 01-03 to 04-05 Gauge Cluster Swap: DONE! Pics inside w/ Pin removing FAQ & Video

Got the cluster today and also finished today. The diagrams were insanely helpful in combination with each other, and the video on how to removed the wires from the plugs was invaluable too. Anyone can do this, I would say it only took me about an hour and a half all together, but if i was to do it again it would take under one hour. For anyone confused why one connection has two wires going to it, you have to splice the two wires listed and make them into one connection going into the designated spot.

Thanks for all of the help everyone.

Encouragement for anyone thinking about swapping gauges

its airbag SRS light, i think if it triggered somehow, resetting it is a pain. you gotta do some weird procedure with a special tool idk. theres diy around here somewhere.

Re: 01-03 to 04-05 Gauge Cluster Swap: DONE! Pics inside w/ Pin removing FAQ & Video

so just swapped an 03 EX cluster into my 04 DX VP. followed the diagrams, directions, etc. and shockingly, had no issues getting the cluster out, or taking the pins out of the connectors. However, following the spreadsheet, i ended up with a white/red stripe wire from the green connector that i just taped off, as it was not used. with the cluster installed, everything seems to work. speedo, tach, fuel and temp. all the indicator lights that should light up when the key is turned to run, before starting, do. i have the following problems, tho. my high beam indicator no longer works, and i now have an ABS light lit up on the dash of my non-abs equipped dx. i can deal with the high beam indicator not working, tho i'd like it to. but what i really need to resolve is the abs indicator. i feel like this will screw me, at my next inspection, and/or when i try to sell the car. were i to tape over the light, i would have to take the needles off to pull the cluster apart. i'm trying to avoid this. any ideas for either of these issues?? i've used the "search this thread" function, and haven't come up with anything.

just disconnect the abs wire? and connect the hi beam wire? ill look up the colors and what they mean when i have a chance to look in the manual. but if removing abs wire doesnt work, you can prolly ground it out.

ok. i was hoping someone would have a chart/diagram for what color wires do what. i'd appreciate if you could look that up for me. i think all my connections are good, but it's possible i screwed something up. given a breakdown of what does what, i'll have a better chance of finding the problem

okay its not too helpful. just double check the connections. for the hi beam, it says red/yel or red/blu. i guess both are needed to complete the circuit or something. for abs, its blu/red.
