And he was like, " Oh i didn't know women actually owned cars like this." Then I was pretty rude because I knew my turn signal wasn't on. Then he said, "What does your tint read.." and I said, "I don't know" (because I knew they were illegal) then he said that, "They they looked too dark so he did the test. And they came back illegal So then he seriously told me, "Either you peel it off now or you can come back and get your car when its peeled off." So I called my brother and his friend came and helped me take the tint off (AS I WAS LATE FOR MY SECOND JOB) and the cop waited there for this whole hour process. WTF! I was wondering if this cop was serious we were all cracking jokes about it. TWO WEEKS LATER HE pulls me over and asks for my number, and I gave him the wrong number hahaha. But then yesterday i get pulled over for a 45 in a 40 and he gives me a ticket and it says honda accord on the citation, its gonna be dismissed I already know. If you're ever in alexandria, ky watch out for officer wilkes. HAHAH So when people say girls get off easier BS!! And also, I have 5 tickets in the past two months on my record. 3 being from this one officer.
But that seriously sucks, I get picked on a lot where I live because theres usually nothing but diesels . But lose tail lights looks badass.
does anyone else feel like after a while, their car is falling apart? i try to keep it clean and new but so many problems keep adding up im ready to give up. some issues include, hail damage all over top of car (hood, roof, and trunk), rock chips all over bumper, large cracks in front bumper and side, broken wheel splash shields, rust in rear wheel well, faded side moulding piece, tons of clear coat scratches on the rear paint (from crappy paint job after major accident), lots of scratched interior plastics, rattles everywhere, rims have tons of deep scratches and curb rash from the wheel shops being careless, steering wheel is faded, driver seat rocks, floor carpet is dirty, headlights are hazy inside and burnt, exhaust has tons of scrapes and damage, engine bay has alot of broken stuff, front windshield has hundreds or rock chips and at least 5 BIG chips, the plastics under the car are falling off, sideskirt mounts are cracked and one side is loose, driver window squeaks, driver door lock is broken, fabric is falling out of door panel again, cd player face is being held together with scotch tape, sun visor has big gash in the fabric, numerous black molding strips on the outside are coming loose or warped from sun, transmission starting to slip more, tint is starting to peel and tear in some places, numerous door dings all around the sides, im sure there is alot more that i cant remember! LOL. feels like a bad investment spending $17.5k back in 2002. Car is barely 8 yrs old and already feels like its almost dead. maybe i shouldve just got a used car at the time. as much as i try to keep it nice, something new always happens to it!
Lately I have been thinking the same thing about my car. I have 17" Konig Unknown rims that do not like potholes very much. I try to avoid them as much as possible but when I do hit a pothole the rim cant handle the impact and just bends. Not to mention I had to go back to my stockies just to gain a smooth ride back. My Vis Racing Carbon Fiber hood looks like shit from the clear coat fading. I tried to fix my headlights with a wetsand headlight restoration kit and it just made them worst. My driver side door lock only works with the key and sometimes the key doesn't even want to turn. I need a window regulator for the driver side. At certain RPM's I hear this annoying rattle from under my car. Lastly I was parked on the street and someone must have backed into my bumper because the honda emblem on the grill was tucked under itself with scratches on the bumper. (Luckily I was able to just pry the emblem back into place but when I saw this my heart dropped to the floor).
