Got my wheels today---few questions though

Okay well I finally got some wheels (used). Now I just need your guy's opinion on which tires do you think I should get. I don't really race...im just lookin for some good long-lasting tires. Oh and on the last 2 shots---I need to know if this bent rim is a big deal or not---what necessary steps should I take to fix it. and how much $$$. Thanks guys!! Sorry about the messed up pics

And what the heck do these things on the back of the spokes mean?--Sorry I'm a newb w/ wheels!!

That bend in the rim is pretty significant; get it fixed or get a new one, cause I don't see how anyone would be able to balance it out.

it would cost around 70 bucks. Look in the yellow pages. There are some companies that can fix wheel repairs.

owwe, thats a nasty bend. Nice wheels though. I think we have someone local who can fix it Chris. I like the rims. Were those the ones you were telling me about? Silver on silver, not to bad. we'll have to hang out again when you get back. Maybe i can help you on tire selection. I know your looking for tires for mileage, good wear, but what about noise, and drivabilty? The tires i have like to hum on the highway, lol.. YOu'll see what i mean when you get back. later.

If your looking for some tires i would have to say go for the TOYO T1R's, those have pretty sweet looking tread and they are good tires. if interested let me know,i can get you those or any other type of tires at dealer cost and delivered to my dealership in arlington.

those are casted aluminum wheels/ it would be less costly to replace them since they are rotas. it will cost between $65-100 to fix each wheel depending on whether or not you want coating refinished.
