I think one might be better off looking for some folding mirrors from another model car, and then modifying where they meet up with the window and the mounting hardware. I was thinking about doing this. Then to get the perfect fit fiberglass the connection up the the car and use body filler and even rods inside of the fiberglass to make it super strong. OR get a regular pair of civic mirrors, hack off the connectiont to the car, get the other pair of mirrors and hack off the connection the the car, meet them up and fiberglass/bodyfiller around the two surfaces meet nicely. Prime and paint.
They are EDM mirrors for our cars.....funny thing tho, I helped mralbino install another set of edm mirrors, and they were way off in terms of lining up compared to mine, and the driver's side mirror angle is completly useless!!(max mirror angle lets u see ur gas lid....lol) its almost like there are 2 versions of the pf mirrors out there......
there are several different versions. the UK mirrors are folding but not power. and then there is EDM and JDM. who knows what else. I think the problem with the mirror angle is because they are made for RHD cars. Just like JDM headlights aim straight into oncoming traffic. Because our drivers side is their passenger side, I would assume that the mirror is not angled well because normally it would not need to go so far.
