I went to my friends house to swim the other day. As I entered her back yard I greeted her and gave her a hug. She wrapped her arms around me and flung me into the pool. My brand new phone was in my pocket, as well as my keys with my Viper alarm 2-way remote. When i went to get back into my car once the night was over, i was unable to. With my alarm, the only way to get in and out is with that remote, and now its ruined. If i use the actual key to get in, the alarm triggers and it no longer allows you to start the car. My car has been sitting in her driveway for 3 days now incapacitated.
u should be able to get in by overriding the alarm using the valet switch, open the door with the key, put the key in the ignition to II, then use your override code to bypass the alarm.
if disarming and alarm is that easy... whats the point of having an alarm
u cant pull off these tricks without the car keys. And even if someone tries to get under ur hood and disconnect ur battery, thats what backup sirens and hood pin switches are for.

yup.... i was just saying for temporary until he gets a new transmitter to get his alarm working again. so he would be able to have his car for transportation.
I used to be a DEI Tech (Python, Viper, Clifford, All those alarms) If you want, I can walk you through the steps to disarming your alarm, either online, or on the phone if you wish. (It's a little harder to explain it here correctly then on the phone) I'l PM you.
