had 1 accident total and was in my 7thgen. Less that 2 months after having it...driving down the dangerous hill towards school....i looked away at some ppl walking down and traffic stopped. Hit some girl in an escort doing about 25-30. Total'd her POS and 1300 damage to mine. (new front bumber, new headlight, core support realignment) Good thing was that it didn't make my insurence jump too much, most was from losing my steer clear from state farms

Bowling Ball

Well, I was driving on SB I5 near southcenter mall near seattle. I was in the farthest left lane but not in the HOV lane. I glanced over to my right and see this bouncing blue object come out of no where. It misses all these cars and I was the unlucky one to get hit by what I thought was a balloon. I keep driving for about a quarter mile. NOTE: I was doing about 65-70 mph. So then steam starts coming out from under my hood. I managed to pull my car over all the way to the right shoulder. I get out and look under and I cant tell what it is, but im leaking radiator fluid all over the place. So i jack my car up and find out its a bowling ball. And yes i still have that bowling ball which is sitting in my garage. So i put the bowling ball in my trunk and drive off, but then my thermostat starts rising and goes all the way to the red. I pull over a second time. Thats when I called my homegirl up, she came with a homeboy and they followed me to the nearest exit and parked in a parking lot to see what was wrong. I find that my radiator was cracked in how many places IDK. Cuz after we parked at the parking lot we went to the nearest gas station for some radiator fluid. Poured it in the radiator, and damn it was leaking everywhere. So i had my car towed from Federal way. about 10 mins from Tacoma. All the way to Silverdale. about 45 mins away. so it was about a 50 mile trip. luckily my insurance covered the tow and repairs to my car. I just had to pay the deductable of 250. The total cost for my repairs was over 1g. Yes, i was w/o a car for a month. it sucked. Weirdest and and worst experience in an accident

god i hate accidents, on my 19th b-day someone rear-ended me going 50-55 and broke 3 of my ribs, 2 years later, i'm going to court over it. ON MY F*CKING 21ST B-DAY! The other insurance company actually told me and my lawyer that i should of gotten another job when i was out of work cuz of my ribs, they said i should of gotten a job that wasn't so "physically demanding." come one now.

I think that was the last thing on his mind. Although I want the story on that one. Last spring in my 96 Civic Coupe. My gf in her ford escort hit a wood crate. I was behind her, had no where to go, I hit the debris. An hour later, my engine sounds like shit, a semi is passing me going up a mountain, I stop, put some oil in. I had a few quarts with me (just in case) a mile up the road, the car sounds like shit, so I take a look. hmm, Where did my oil pan go? I knew I was going to need a new engine, and would have to scrap the car, I drove it as far as I could, it died. sold it to a salvage yard. While waiting on the tow truck to pick up the car, I get an $80 parking ticket. GRR. I hate PA.

Groovy. This weeks been. first the rockerpanel. Now, I was backing out of a parking lot, a concrete slab caught my bumper. ripped it off along with the windshield washer motor. This was in a civilized parking lot. when I took the civic off road earlier. not a problem. go fig.

I was wondering why Civic insurance is so expensive... and this thread explains it =P

I feel bad for you guys that got rearended while stopped--that really sucks. Some of the other situations just seem like defensive driving would've helped. If somebody rearended my Si I'd be ticked.

the worst part is when you're stopped you can't really accelerate fast enough to avoid anything especially when the other guy is looking at his phone. i've had alot of close calls where my paying attention and thinking ahead won out but it was different this time.

i got one of the best storys here i bet. ill be posting pics of it up then.

well i was driving along on my way home when a BEAR came out of no where and i hit it. the bear weighed 250 pounds. needless to say it wasnt pretty. it did 5500 worth of damage. the best part was the insurance company didnt total it. i was so happy. but my entire car is fiberglass so it took me awhile to get it fixed.

then after i got it fixed i had it back for 3 days and the engine blew up on me. then the tow truck ripped off my bodykit and i had to fix it all over again.

needless to say i have about 8 grand into a bear accident.
