Unhappy The Civic is GONE

Yes, it is true folks, the Civic has left my hands for ever. It was a hard parting, but I think I am dealing with it well.

I now move to the next stage of my life...

The Married Mobile!!

I got a killer deal on this 03 Honda Shoebox EX I couldnt refuse. Honestly this thing is more fun than the civic, being a 5spd, this thing has way more pull than the civic, even the miata(still not as fun as the Miata though) & is a hell of a lot more handy.

Reason for trading: the civic(coupe) sucks ass on camping trips, this thing will be a hell of alot more usefull.

But dont worry folks, I still have the fun car, & she's not going anywhere for awhile...

Oh yea, I traded the civic in so I threw the Momo on the Miata, its much more usefull now

Over time the Element has grown on me, and I totally understand your logic on trading the Civic in for that. How is the room and the interior on the Element? I'm sure it'll be that much useful to you, good luck with it!

Why would you buy a piece of shiat Ford Explorer over a Honda?
That makes no sense.
Then you'll say: Ford sells tons of them!
And I'll say: Ford buyers are all jumping off a cliff, go join them.

p.s. Jiggerachi, paint the grey plastic if you can. I saw one that had, and it was niice.

Looked at an Exploder, 2 words...gas mileage.

Friend has an Exploder, its nice, but hard to get in the back seat(2 door) , sucks gas like a mofo, & was expensive. Otherwise I might have considered it.

Oh yea, I got the Element for 14 grand, with 19k miles, I think that made my decision for me...

Due to its shoeboxness, the Element has a considerable amount of room even though its a small-mid SUV. It feels as wide as my dads full size dodge van, & given the length difference, the cargo capacity is surprisingly close.

All 4 seats fold back flush with each other, making a simulated bed, & while I would rather be in a tent, my wife gets freaked out by raccoons & such, so we usually end up in the car my the end of the night, so the shoebox should suit us well.

The whole interior is waterproof also...

I have seen one of these fully modded here. A company here has one. It was lowered all plastic removed and done up looked kinda cool. I will be interested to see if the wife lets you mod it(if you want to that is). I hope that one day when me and my lady decide to do whatever that there will be a contract....."NO MINI VANS"! I would like a subaru four door....would be a good family car!!

^Haha, we already have an agreement, no minivans...ever.

I dont know if I will do much to it, as all my $$$ will be going into racing the Miata, although I am interested in painting the plastic, but thats expensive & not real high on my priority list at the moment.

another cool thing about the element is the back seats, theyre raised above the drivers so peeps in the back have great views and are not stuck looking at the back of a seat.

Ewwwww... Green! hahaha... I love the Element, I'd buy one too if I had the cash. Awesome. I'm not feeling the color though! I guess the hot lil Miata next to it balances it out though. I want that same deadly duo!

Maybe in a couple of years, I'll have the same combo... except my Element will be orange.
