that image is not of my projectors, but it displays what i meant by rotation. if you have the projectors aimed properly, it should look like this:

if you have some rotation off, it might look more like this:

over on the right side of the green pattern/step there might be children running around on the side of the road and may even run ON to the road. to compensate for rotation, (obviously it's not THAT dramatic on my car as depicted above) i aimed the projectors a little higher than normal, and the passenger side is aimed even higher (maybe 1" higher at 25 ft)

a retro is getting OEM projectors from a car, ie audi, bmw, etc etc and "retrofitting" them into your headlights. infinite has valeo h7 projectors with d2s adapter. and h4 will not work since those are not projector bulbs. it will cost you a pretty penny if you dont do the labor your self. for me it cost a lot too. projectors will run you any where from 175-230 depending what kind you get, hella gen 3 ballasts are 200+, and then if you keep your stock headlights you need something to run your car while its getting done so figure that into your cost. bulbs are about 100 bucks tops. and then you need to get a wire harness thats around 50.75 bucks. and then you gotta figure labor in which is another 200 minimum. so yea expensive.

it's actually not that much if you think about it. i mean, if you go get a new car and they have an option of having HID or halogen lights, they will charge appx $1000 for the HID upgrade. you can get all of the retrofit parts for $600 and then do the labor yourself - really not that hard.

did u ever figure out how to wire ur highbeams? Don't the tyc come w/ separate high and low bulbs. u can prolly wire the high beam bulb to the ground wire and the high beam wire on the oe harness. nice retrofit by the way. how well did the valeos fit inside the tyc? i wanted the valeo d2s but they were hard to find.

nope. still no high beams. i'm pretty sure i just have to add a diode to my harness, but that is waaaay too much work for me.

the valeos are a very snug fit. theyre appx the same size as the TYC projectors, so they are literally plug and play. the output isn't nearly as good as the H7 valeo which is odd, because the H7 was made for halogen, but the D2S (in my car right now) were made for...well...D2S.

thanks for the compliment.
