Hmm. the guys seem to think the car is ugly but it's funny I won first place in a huge show in a class of over 100 civis. 9for the motor 10 for the exterior 9 for the interior and rest all 9's. to tell you the truth guys I really want to paint the car jet black put the stock bumpers, keep the black tails and headlight and tint the windows complete black. I would leave the Hood wing, fenders and rip off that wings west kit! This way it looks like a sleeper but when they hear that BOV they won't know what hit em!
BTW good job on the motor, but paint ur car black liek u said u wanted to

I don't understand how it's rice, What I think is rice is people driving around with kits they are painted different colors or not painted at all!! Why does honda automatically become assumed rice? Wings West makes nice kits and so does Kaminari. I see people drivin around with cars and kits falling apart. At least mine is not one of them. Still if it so rice why the HELL did I win first place in the honda class???? I saw the grade sheet. Everyone at the show thought the car was hot and said it had style and it seems smooth. The judges also thought it was unique that I painted the grill and were impressed.
Oh for the price. I bought a JDM rsx front clip for 10,000. I keep the Steering wheel :-)
I bought the clip when hasport had mounts in the making so that is why it was so high. I bought 2,600 in turbo parts. BOV, RevHard Ball Bearing Turbo, Injectors, Hondata K pro ECU, Waste Gate, Intercooler. and 2,200 for labor, custom piping made from scratch, tuning, misc stuff. So all together now it runs into for about 14,800 plus the mounts, wiring harness, custom 400 hp axles courtasy of the driveshaft shop, hasport cooling fan. So it runs into alot of money and when done step by step it doesn't seem that way.
i guess your car is nice then ... sine you won first place at a car show. what got 2nd place? a civic w/ a supra conversion w/ lambo doors and lemon lime paint job?
Not rice, actually. It 'looks' fast and is fast! With all that you should just go with a RWD conversion and I'd consider Honda Civics to be legitimate race cars
