Honda Salesman to the rescue. It is a DX that gives you a free CD player, A/C, and the center console armrest.

The shift point is when the fuel cutoff stops you from going faster and you bounce off redline. LOL nah... you will get a feel for it. The redline is the same as an LX... 7000 i believe. maybe 6700. i forget.

seriously though, you will get a feel for it by ear or by touch through the shift knob.

It depends on what you are going for. If you wanna save gas, dont go above 3000 rpms i guess. I just make my shift points depending on what mood im in. If im kinda pissed, ill go to 7000...i think 7200 is the limiter on the d17a2. BTW, someone move this.

around 6750, but without a tach, you wouldn't be able to see it anyway

j/k, go for a new gauge cluster

Easy solution. Get a small tach and mount it inside the cluster area like this:

Please don't get one of those nasty, huge tachs with the shift light.

Or you could do a cluster swap. I don't know how compatible the clusters are on the '04, so you're gonna be taking your chances. Read this thread for more info:
