I'm planning on clearing the headlights on my 03 civic sedan this weekend and looking for some good plans. I got no clue about working on cars but trying to learn so i checked out the DIY section here and printed the plans posted. I spoke to a guy that told me they were not that good and I could damage my car. Can anyone help me out with some step-by-step plans on how to clear my headlights? Also, I am replacing my headlight wire harness and installing some hyperwhites, i think this should be pretty EZ but anyone got some pointers? Thanks alot.

if i remember right i think you stick em in the oven for about 20min to get the adhesive warm and you take em apart, then you take out the little amber plastic thing and either put em back together or you may have to heat em up again to get the adhesive warm to put em back together, i'm not really sure i havn't done it yet either but i wanna i jus know i'll mess it up cause i keep hearin stories bout people touchin the chrome or cookin too long and crackin em or etc...

All you have to do is seperate the glue with a razor blade or screw driver, remove the amber piece, clean the chrome piece, and re gluee and reseal................no oven needed.

if you have a sedan, the glue is different. But either way, heating them in the oven or using a heat gun only makes it A LOT easier.
jus goto home depot and buy one that you can use in the bathroom. Why? Think of all the moisture in the bathroom when you take hot showers. That stuff works and is sticky.
OR
you can buy some RTV type silicone adhesive...lemme find the link.
