My opinion: I hate them. Ever since fnf movie came out everyone wants to make their car look like the cool ones in the movie. Some kid at my school just gat a red 01 civic. He is getting undercarlights and a flamethrower kit(he wants it to shoot out red flames when he hits the NOS) how stupid is that. I hate undercar lighting. No it doesnt add horespower.
It's not high on my list of things to add but I don't mind it as long as it's done tastefully. I agree that it's best on a car with some sort of body kit so you can't see the tubes, looks cleaner. I'm not a big fan of driving with them on though, I prefer them on when the car is parked.
Underbody Neons are always a touchy thing. On the right car, they look good. On the wrong car, they look like 10 pounds of hot Monkey Poo. As long as the light source are mounted to where they cannot be seen and compliments the car.
ive gone from blue line to gold series. big difference. only thing is ive broken a bulb 4 times already.
-broke front one when i hit an armadillo
-broke front one on some piece of trash in the road drivin to work tired at 6am
-broke front one cause my friend jumped on my hood while i was startin to leave and fell off the front and his leg slammed into the bumper
-broke side bulb from shit in the road again
I really like mine. As long as you hide the tubes under a bodykit, they look nice. When they're off noone can tell you have them anyway. Just don't go driving around town with them on. Good for meets and parking lots, though. Streetglow gold is the best.
